If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. 21: Graduated Vanderbitl in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).

26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).

My uncle told me that being doctor is good for my future because there will always be a demand for physicians. If the economy collapses, if there is war, practically every apocalyptic scenario LOL, doctors are always needed. He was a well-respected surgeon and that was 20 years ago. After I saw the movie Passengers, where a machine will just scan a person and a diagnosis will be made and the treatment initiated, I immediately realized that my uncle forgot about technology.

If Musk is saying we need to push for A.I. regulation, then we should seriously look into it. If we keep replacing jobs then the need for a universal basic income will increase and soon after that the government will basically control your entire life. The best way to stop this from happening is voting with your dollars and supporting companies than employ people with careers. Also to become financially and physically independent from the government (be able to buy your own car/house/business and healthy not relying on pills/drugs/shots to live).

I don’t usually comment on videos but this one is unique. In a nutshell I think the advancement of A.I. will increase the value of actually intelligent human beings. With humans having access to so much intelligence so easily, it doesn’t require humans to have to learn as much anymore because they know they can easily access it. And with A.I. being able to take over majority of the work force it will be easy for humans to be lazy. Thus creating a world where actual HUMAN intelligence and skill is valued at an all time high. I think REAL human services and products will become the premium choice over A.I. produced products and services. And the creativity will be the separating factor for humans because we won’t NEED much from an actual human anymore, A.I. could just do it for us.

One thing I didn't see mentioned is the unregulated training of these AI bots. Currently, many engines train and learn off of millions of images and pieces of art produced by individual artists. While it's essentially impossible to enforce at such scale, all that work *Is* copyrighted by law. This creates a huge ethical dilemma, as to if the AI that so many people hope might replace needing individual artists (which I don't think will ever truly happen, or be completely viable) should even be able to produce the art it does. It's built on the shoulders of millions of hours of work from others with no credit back to them. Without all that ground work, these AI bots would be nothing. It just rubs me the wrong way.

I actually think it will be incredibly difficult to demonstrate infringement, or at least a legal problem. Human artist do exactly the same thing. We don't make art in a vacuum. By the time any artist creates something monetizable, they have seen/absorbed an enormous amount of other artists' work. Same with writing a book, film, etc. The AI can just do degrees of magnitude more, faster. I do think this will suck for people employed in art forms of all kinds. The longer the form, though - novels? - the harder perhaps to replace?

Honestly, at this point, even 'ideas' cannot be considered original because of just how much information we have right now, from all across social media, the internet, idk Pinterest, Deviant Art, etc., and AI is literally doing just that. If an artist were to give 'credit' to each of the thousands of other artists whose work he got inspiration or even an idea from, that would be unrealistic. It's the same with AI. It's not copying, it's taking inspiration, compiling all of those 'ideas' it gets from other artists, and then it creates the best that it can from that knowledge.

Kim Jun Gi, passed away and the next day there was someone who generated his art/style exactly and started to sell it as their own. Right, because a lot of this "making money on AI" is in ignorance of the fact that OpenAI is going to start charging a lot of money to use the services, they made if free in beta to assist with training but theres going to be an entry cost to make money using this service. I think they said 10 cents an input, and you can imagine that will increase significantly unless they are being altruistic and discount on computing costs based on the increase of server size...
