Your videos are great, beautiful scenery. To ease some of the bumpy try letting some air out of your tires. Start with 20 lbs in each tire. Get a small air compressor to refill the tires when done wheeling.

Thanks so much! Yeah, we have an ARB air compressor under the hood and usually take the tires down to 15-18 psi depending on the terrain.

@@xplor_adventure Yeah about 5 minutes after I sent that suggestion, I saw on one of your videos that you were airing up those tires. But I was too late and had already sent my reply. Love your videos and content. Your wife should create a Cookbook for sale. Her recipes look delicious! Anxious to watch your next video! Maybe we will see you in the Swell one of these days! Last time I was there I camped at the Little Grand Canyon, was really cool waking up on the overlook! Buckhorn Wash was really cool with all the Indian Artwork and Dinosaur print!

Watched other KZbinrs trips to Lake Adams. My girlfriend especially like your videos because you're more our speed - off grid camping versus rock climbing and extremely technical trails. With that being written, do you have armor on your rig? If yes, is it aluminum or steel? Planning a 2024 trip to Colorado and I am enamored with the Flat Tops. Want to see how doable it is for us. TIA!
@xplor_adventure Жыл бұрын
Thanks Grant! Yeah, we definitely prefer the off-grid style with the occasional technical challenge. Adam’s lake was a challenging road but fun, as opposed to scary. We don’t have armor except for the front skid plate. I suppose it would be a good idea to get some in the rare chance that something happens. We’ve definitely slid on our rock sliders a time or two so those are a must. But usually when you’re going over a boulder field the only thing you’ll get caught up on is your rear differential if anything. You’re going to love the Flat Tops - enjoy your trip next year!

Yes the road going up is a bit rough in certain spots but if you pick your lines you should be fine.
