Hey plaintiff: There's NO such thing as *"Free."* The price is ALWAYS hidden somewhere in the price of the item(s). I'm glad you won your case. The defendant needs to get educated in his field of expertise. Also, the defendant's "emergencies" are unfortunate but they are NOT the problem of the customer! The customer is the employer. The hired business becomes the employee. The employer never has to put up with the employees emergencies. Ever.

Yeah. I suspect the transmitters came six to a pack and the defendant chose to make believe the plaintiff didn't pay for all six.

The losing side always wants to claim “they didn’t let me give speak much…” WHAT could you have said that would’ve changed the verdict? The plaintiff fulfilled his obligation (paying) and the defendant didn’t (never got a full-functioning security camera system b/c he couldn’t get the motion-activated feature to work [within a reasonable amount of time]). Defendant didn’t dispute those facts so it’s a pretty simple cut-n-dry contracts case….

This is a common problem. It’s the result of weak wifi. Most techs will try to use wifi extenders and place them near the cameras to boost the signal. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
@dennisranck16132 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. If the customer has got weak wi-fi, that would explain why the first camera system was intermittent. Though, the second camera system was hardline, and I do not understand why it was intermittent.
@arianefr782 жыл бұрын
The defendant installed a cheaper version of equipment the second time, although claiming he ate half the cost, how can a cheaper version cost more? He was shady from the start and should not be charging professional prices, when he is an amateur...

So, I do have a comment, although it is not camera related. I ended up running Cat 5 cables through my entire house, and through my sisters house. I told her, that she would not be using everything on Wi-Fi, it all needs to be hard lined. Especially, if you are streaming. This goes for the hard line cameras, the defendant did mention hikvision, which as I am recalling, is a Poe camera. Which is why I do not understand the plaintiff saying that the second camera system was intermittent.

It seems that most people today want a Rolex on a Timex budget. Doesn't work that way. Quality costs money. As someone who put in a top notch home security/surveillance system from ADT, I have to say it hurt my wallet for a couple of months, but in the long run it was completely worth it. I had 2 claims of people saying they were injured on my property. Guess what the hidden security cameras showed, in crystal clear HD quality may I add. Insurance companies love customers like me. 😂
