This is now a huge part of my defence game to the point that i "almost" don't care about side control. Obviously, as you point out, DON'T let it get too deep but, controlling that underhook arm is imperative.!! Thank you so much.!! +TeachMeGrappling

Your techniques are great. I only wish there was a preview at normal speed before going into the technical aspects of it.

I understand. I used to do that but I’ve been busy so I keep my editing minimal. I will try to do it on my next one. Thanks!

lil bit hard to hear but I like this, despite the fact that this is a pretty niche type move it was one of the first things I had success with.
@bigmember59086 жыл бұрын
this is also way more technical then what I did when I first started using it, what I do now is technical but still not this much so. then again I'm not an instructor I just teach a bit when I work with people and I see them struggling

Been looking for this technique.. I knew how to escape, but one day I accidentally did this darce choke and never knew what I did exactly. So thanks man

Nasty! I love it! Going to train with this tonight. My go to has always been to fight back into the guard. But this is simply nasty. You're making it appear you're fighting for the guard but then switch it up North South while locking in a Darce. Glorious.

Hi thank you for your reply! I wonder why new registerations are not allowed on your website at the moment. I also wonder if there is an option for me to get your instructional videos by paying a monthly fees like some popular websites such as MG. I'd like to learn from you from A to Z online if possible. Thank you again for your awesome service.

I mean whatever the price you feel like reasonable for online lessons :) I have been doing grappling stuff for many years and find your stuff very very good and would like to learn sth more which you would teach only for your close students and during your private lessons :) please let me know.

I keep trying this and it works on brand new people. Even experienced white belts seem to shut this move down.
@TeachMeGrappling6 жыл бұрын
For a second I replied to the wrong video comment! Anyway... most popular counters come from the opponent pulling their arm out and putting it on the near side, turning into north south position. You really have to focus on keeping the arm. I’ve pulled this off many times on black belts. Don’t give up!

Hi, How do i avoid them to go north to south, as soon they feel they are getting countered they move to north to south, any ideas coach?
@TeachMeGrappling6 жыл бұрын
I go over this in my other ghost videos. Check them out. If you make your grips early and strong, you prevent north south and sweep them.

Is anyone else having trouble pulling this off in a gi? My head gets stuck and I can't slide it out due to the friction. They just squeeze and that head is locked in tight.
@ShuriekenFTI6 жыл бұрын
I’m probably stupid but can you tell me how to avoid getting north south choked while doing this technique? Is it just a speed thing?
@TeachMeGrappling6 жыл бұрын
Speed always helps when the technique is right, but no it’s not speed. You must be losing control of the arm. If you can control it, they won’t transition. Please watch my other ghost escape videos for more details.

How do you stop from getting smashed when you are trying to get out!!!!!
@TeachMeGrappling6 жыл бұрын
I know how you feel. I get smashed a lot while escaping from good guys. Having said that, over time I realized they can smash me all they want. As long as you turn your head away and they miss your jaw with their shoulder, your head will eventually make it out. There is key movement that can help you squirm out that I may show on a future video. It’s funny because your comment is exactly what I said when I first started learning this. You are on the right path. 👍
