Please do a part 2 with Craig Powell! Because I feel there is a lot more to talk about, as in the theories, the psuedo-science theories, science officials, and government officials, gateway communications etc. Like you said Spanian, this phenomina is a universal thing that's recorded down in history, and there is so much depth to this against the stereotypical generic comments that shrug this stuff off you know. Please please do a part 2!

My late father told me about the time in his younger days while working for a squatter in Walcha NSW his job was to look after some horses in a stable and settle them in for the night. He also slept in the horses stables as well. One particularly freezing cold night he said he was woken up by the horses in stable going beserk and when his eyes become adjusted to the dark he saw a figure standing over his bed. He said it was the skeleton of a man wearing a tartan shirt. He took a swipe at it but the thing hit him across the face. He swore that the thing left a large red mark on his cheek and took a couple of days to go away. I only happened to find out about this because my father asked someone from Walcha a few years back about the red brick stables at the particular property where it happened and was told that they had been torn down

I've had many paranormal experiences within my life. As soon as I began watching this podcast, I was thinking of this place I went to with my sister to camp the night, turns out it was Cockatoo Island...the amount of activity out there was astounding to me, I went walking around with my nephew late at night, and it was overwhelming, I was blown away by the feelings I was experiencing out there. When i was a kid years before the internet, my aunt told me a story where she was on a holliday in queensland, she woke up in the hotel room to find a very well dressed shadowy figure of a man in a suit waistcoat a long trench coat and a fedora it was standing over her in a dark room. Years later I was with a friend at his cousins house and we started talking about paranormal experiences her story didnt even cross my mind but his cousin Told me the same story other than it happened in his house. Sometime after that i see the Bone thugs n Harmony video for the crossroads and during the clip a guy of the same description is going around collecting souls and it ends up being an angel. Years later after the internet gets its legs its a common story and that type of sighting is labelled "the Hat Man".

When I was 13, I experienced my first physical paranormal encounter. I use to have a lot of nightmares prior where I would beg god to protect me every night from them. They story starts with my mum and dads divorce which caused us to sell the house. My Dad and I were doing the last finishes on the house, packing it up etc. My dad was a Christian so he went into his old room and started praying. I was in the car waiting and I felt uneasy so I went inside. As I went inside I saw a tall figure float across the hallway. I was in shock. My dad ends up coming out of his old room and asks “Hey What’s wrong?” I didn’t reply but I went white as a ghost. He then asked me again and I said “There’s someone in the house” and he asked “where’s the wood axe?” And then as we were finding something to protect us. We seen it go from the hallway to the front door and he says “There it is”. Then he gave me the instructions to look directly into the room it came out of and show no fear. We did so and then left the house. We never went back after that.

I can relate about the flies, My dad had committed suicide when I was 6months old. So my grandparents had to fly out to the islands where my father was staying . Few days after burying my dad, My Uncles partner at the time walked into the room I was sleeping as a baby and saw me standing up in my cot playing with someone or something. She panicked and called my uncle to come into the room, what they told me they saw was a shadow figure made completely out of 1000s of flies, my uncle had to call my grandma into the room and she knew it was my dad, so she told my dad to leave me alone and that I will be safe . He didn't trust what my mother did that's why his spirit stayed behind... Apparently the flies went down the hallway out the front door... That's when my grandparents brang me to Australia to raise me. As I was growing up my family kept telling me I was special baby but little did I know. I heard stories about it untill I hit 19 that's when my family told me the story of what happened after my dad passed

I was around 7 years old watching a paranormal tv show and my sister sitting in front of me turns to me with a great big smile and had maggots poking out from within her skin on her face, i jumped up screaming and ran to my Neighbour's house. When i was 18 i had seen a black cat running from one end of the room to the other end then disappeared into the wall. When i was 26 i had several lucid visions one of while laying on my bed at night just a pair of hands with long red finger nails holding a sheet and pulling it over my whole body, the other vison was me as a medieval soldier and wounded on the battlefield, i was approached by another soldier and he kneeled down to me to check and see if was still alive. I had been smoking the yandie with my bro inlaw at a rural land look out with hills and it was around 2am,and so we had to get on home, i was so stoned but still had to drive and while driving down a dark straight road i had seen up ahead to the side of the road a black panther running into my direction then as it got to 10 meters from the car it leaped out from the side of the road and onto the front of the cars windscreen ,i swerved the car and it fish tailed up onto the side bank of the road. I had not seen any strange sightings for about 10 years until one day just getting off a train i had spotted a hippy witch looking woman with orange eye shadow around her eyes on the opposite platform., i had to walk from one end and over a pathway to the other side of the platform, where she was, from the moment i got off the train and reached the other platform this woman kept her eyes on me the entire duration. So i do believe in spirits and i have seen them within people

I have a similar story, there was a beach house i'd go to with my family as a kid, about 10 years old etc. One day walking down the hallway I saw a woman in a white dress combing her hair which was wet hair in a mirror. I was the last one leaving the house to go down to the beach, for whatever reason I never told anyone and I got that feeling like there's something behind you and ran out of the house. Years later at a family dinner at Christmas, (I still had never told anyone) one of my aunties was telling a story about no joke the same room, and seeing a woman brushing her hair in what was in the 80's when my auntie was only about 20, she claimed she saw it. Anyway, a few years ago I found out that in the early 1900's one of the girls in the house had one of her friends over, and they went to the beach and the friend drowned, she had been staying in that room at time.

I have a question for Craig. When my dad was growing up in this little town in rural Victoria he’s grandmother was very active in the paranormal she and another lady taught my dad how to see ghosts and I have seen them too we lived in this town called carisbrook it was once a convict prison and the house I lived in was the centre of it all and some weird shit was happening first their was this tree with faces on it their was an old log jail down the road that my great great great grandfather worked in and my dad said he could see ghosts as shadows the only thing was he said that most of them were white and grey shadows but he said there was one that was dark very dark and it used to sit in the corner of the lounge room and never move but one night the power cut out at around 1 in the morning I was still up and I was scared of the dark i mean I was only 9 but then I went out and stood next to my parents door cause I was scared there was one window in the lounge with the curtain up and moonlight was shining in then it went pitch black I giant dark figure slowly moving it had a massive head it was slowly moving in front from the side but it wasn’t walking it was floating close to the ground it slowly reached out to grab me and I was stating to see images in my head of the house before it was built and it was still a convict prison then my dad opened the door behind me and the figure instantly disappeared and the power came back on what do you make of this?

What I feel the violent energy phases are during initiations/ important pivot points in peoples lives. Some people choose in those times to go to the dark side, to seek revenge to seek evil power. Some people shut off completely and become solely physical plane based but you lose depth and emotion including joyful feelings, life can be dull and uneventful if someone chooses that path basically living in denial. Others use the experiences to fight through the negative energies and choose the positive path harnessing the positive energies. Apparently entities will be attracted by the energy we put out, so hate, revenge, trauma etc attracts energies. That's why drug use/ cravings etc can cause negative states and can attract dark energies I swear thats why the shadow men lurk waiting to feed on peoples energy.

Very interesting bro, I’ve had a lot of experiences myself, a lot of them through sleep paralysis and seeing people in the room I was in, I heard and saw my Mrs whisper “help me” while lying next to me immediately after I saw a shadow in the room on holidays once. Scared the sh!t out of me. Just a few days ago I saw and heard a figure walk past me while I was in a state of sleep paralysis across the room and then back, I tried to look but only managed to see the top of the head of whatever it was. Then I heard it say something I couldn’t make out from my bathroom. I’ve had a train sounding noise gradually get louder until I woke up to a quiet living room. I’ve seen a ghost looking boy at the side of my bed. Sometimes it feels like inception as funny as it sounds but I could be 3 dreams deep trying to wake up in one and realise I woke up to another dream. It’s crazy. Nothing much has happened while I’ve been awake and I can’t tell what’s what, I’m half way through this interview but I hope something of dreams is mentioned. Another quick story is when my pop passed away, my dad was at his house cleaning out all of his old stuff. Next thing the dishwasher turned on by itself. My dad said he went to unplug it but it literally was already unplugged. It was on by itself! He walked out to have a cigarette and he told me he said aloud “mum, dad, that’s enough” we laugh about it but my uncle and Aunty witnessed the water still left in the dishwasher after they arrived at the house and the dishwasher had stopped. My dads a big sceptic and believe me, he wouldn’t lie about something like that. I have a fair few stories. I love this stuff. I’m a big believer. Great episode man

I saw something like a shadow person as a 13yrold but it was a figure of a monk with no body/face and it was moving toward me. This was during a dumb seance us kids were doing at camp not knowing what the hell we were doing. My eyes were closed at the time but I could see this figure as if my eyes were open. I saw a psychic years later she told it was my guide who was trying to let me know that there's more to this world or more to what I was doing than I thought.

My mate and I saw a shape shifter. We were driving down a dark residential street and in the distance we saw what looked like a guy kneeling at the front wheel of a car. We didn’t realise it but the conversation we were having had stopped as we were both drawn to what we were seeing, trying to figure out what the guy was doing. As my headlights got closer I could make out exactly what he looked like. A few seconds later my headlights hit him and he looked straight up at us, next thing we see is this ginger cat with its eyes reflecting in my headlights. My mate and I literally said aww F&$k at the same time as a chill went down my spine. We looked at each other and I said to my mate what did you see? He told me exactly what I had just experienced and described exactly what the guy looked like. I was like let’s get the f@&k out of here bro! 😝 we’ve never forgotten that night and always talk about it.

Analogue mobile phones have been in Australia since the 80s, once the Nokia 5110s where release in 1998 they were pretty common most of the cool kids had them lol.

i copped something wierd when i was reading harry potter at like 12 years old in my room by myself, mum was home at the time but had gone to the neighbours i guess i was so into what i was reading that i don't remember her saying she was going over. sometime later im stuck into my book lying on my back as suddenly i get a sense of dread out of nowhere like all the air had froze.. I turned my head to the left facing the wall as my bed was against the far back left corner of the room and the fear just kept building to the point my heart was literally pounding out my chest and i still hadn't quiet realised that something was either with me or not but it soon became apparant as i tried to yell for mum no voice was coming out and i felt pinned down. for a split second or 2 it's as if i saw a black kinda of shadow ball in the corner of the room. i eventually somehow pulled the doona over me and just sat there, and prayed in my mind it all stopped soon after. wouldn't sleep on my own that night.

Were you too intimidating for Isaac's Ghost Grannies? haha Nah another good one g, Loving the variation of these episodes so far! Ghosts are 1000% real and I could have proved it to anybody in Melbourne before they knocked down Larundel Asylum, 100% rate of things happening there every time you'd go back in the day I do think its some kind of multiversal energy shift of frequencies that cause it though, Not so much "spirits" but other fragments of the multiverse temporarily slipping into our dimension P.S It sounds like you saw "Hat Man" in the doorway, common place for him to appear. That one doesn't fit into my theory and i've seen him before too. Doesn't feel like most "ghosts", resonates a depressive evil. I aint religious like that but thats a demon as far as i can tell.

I had an experience at my dad's house in the blue mountains about 6 months ago.I had smoked some marijuana I found and decided to start drawing. I decided it was time to start reversing numbers and putting them together. Every time I was about to reach an epiphany there would be a sound on the roof. I thought oh well it's just the possum I'll continue drawing these symbols with the reverse trick. It seemed I was going too deep every time and there would be a sound. I felt like if I continued I would die.

Years back a friends father was the caretaker in an old navy ship yard that wasnt in use except for a few privately owned boats that where being repaired. We were hanging around one night having a look through the place i walked up some metal stairs saw a $2 coin in the grill of one of the stairs and when i went to pick it up it fell through infront of a doorway on the bottom floor so i went down again to pick it up and i heard what sounded like leather dress or buisness shoes squeeking loud and running toward the door from the otherside which was pitch black through 2 little round windows on the doors, I shit myself and ran back up the stairs told my friends went back down and walked through the doors it was a hallway and at the end was a padded cell.
