Honestly if the person lives alone a lot of these could easily escalate into grade-A psychological torture. Walk invisibly two steps behind them and stop and start when they do. Appear and disappear in the mirrors behind them. Shut doors, cause drafts, knock things off of tables. They'll never be able to prove anything. No one will believe them. They'll slowly descend into paranoia, wondering if the guy they murdered came back to get revenge. If you can turn selectively invisible, join a crowd in public looking all dead and ghost-y, then disappear into the sea of people. These sorts of things aren't scary to watch happen to someone else, but imagine it's happening to you, constantly looking over your shoulder, not sure whether what you're seeing is real or if you're just slowly going insane.

The tax thing reminded me of a stupid theory I believed as a kid. See, when I was a kid, I thought that people put money on dead people's eyelids so that the dead person's ghost would have coin on them to pay the fine so they would be granted passage to go through the golden pearly gates. Learned much later that people put coins on eyelids when someone dies with their eyes open and rigor mortis sets in. The coins were placed on the eyelids to weigh them closed so that it was less painful for them to be viewed until buried. I probably should not have been allowed to see these scenes in western films anyways as I was apparently too young to seperate movies from reality.

Not gonna lie, making a lamp fly and then dropping it on the floor next to the kitchen table while the whole family is watching was a pretty creepy but also kind awesome ability. Got to give it to the ghosts of our house from like 15 years ago, they were pretty creative. That whole thing of torturing a 3-8 year old kid in his sleep on a weekly basis by interogating him about literally everything in life was pretty shitty though.
