Wish granted guys, I have the absolutely amazing Epiphone Jerry Cantrell Wine Red LP Custom, and it plays like a dream. Ebony fretboard, custom Jerry Cantrell neck profile, open coil hot pickup in the bridge and quality electronics all around. I did change the pup to a Seymour Duncan JB bridge and Gibson 490r neck pup, lightweight aluminum tailpiece and high quality bridge and GraphTech Tusk XL nut. The thing absolutely RIPS!!!! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quality LP custom at a great price point.

Well, considering the prices of Gibsons, at least in my neck of the woods, a hat would be a nice cushion to soften the blow to the wallet! I had to save up for a long period of time to buy a SG special (900 euros). Still, in my case: money well spent.
