The toy your highlighted doesn’t work so well of you’ve got pierced nether bits. I know because I have pierced nether bits and a sex toy collection I’ve spent well into the four figures on in the last few years alone. Bellesa’s toys are on par with Lelo and Lovense, and all are worth their price tags, though Lovense can be controlled via app by someone on the other side of the world. Or in the same room. I like not having to remember which remote goes to which toy. Bellesa’s videos, though, are great, and more female-gaze focused. For written stories, Bellesa’s are so-so, and I still prefer LitErotica for the most part, though it can be hard to find stories on LitErotica written through a female lens, and I prefer the female lens, which is all Bellesa has. Love how Bethany and her husband basically despise each other but they are trapped because of their beliefs 💀 what a sad sad life
@MM-bw2lu Жыл бұрын
on that note, i think its really deceptive how people really go in on bethanys horrible behavior in her relationship while ignoring her husbands part. the snippet from his livestream where he was like "so i told her that im the MOST uncaring, im sooo horrible" was him just admitting that he deflects and escalates seemingly every conversation. its a very manipulative way to shut someone up in an argument, but for some reason i never see people discuss it. as much as i think bethany sucks, i dont think shes the primary villain in her relationship. its just all really tragic.
@NoelleTakestheSky Жыл бұрын
I think it’s so sad that he’s gone public with his misery since he couldn’t handle it anymore, and Bethany was chipper as always, ignoring his heartbreak and cries for help. I actually think these two may end up divorced. It’s massive for a fundie to not only admit to needing therapy, but to go, then to talk about it, since it’s an admission that prayer isn’t a cure, and he’s admitted needing it, started going, and admitted it.

This is actually the reason the inverted cross is commonly believed to be Satanic! It's associated with the pope, and cartoonists even from way back when would use it as a way to symbolize the pope who they believed to be Satan. Eventually the papal connection was lost, and it just became shorthand for Satan. It's actual meaning is humility before God and its proper name is St. Peter's cross. He asked to be crucified upside- down because he did not believe himself worthy to die the same way Jesus did. Also, IIRC the pope being an emissary of Satan was one of Martin Luther's 99 theses and one of the founding beliefs of Protestantism.

At 27 I still occasionally feel a bit giddy if I go on a trip or something and don't tell my parents, let alone ask anyone's permission :D Unsolicited tips, from one free woman to another: -start looking for a therapist whenever you can afford it. Shop around, find someone you click with, one who understands religious trauma. -pay attention to happy older women you meet, especially 40+ age group, women who _aren't_ part of a high-control religious group, build relationships with those women. It's so helpful to find some mentorship outside of the system you were raised in. I have had great male mentors too, but... Unfortunately you have to be more careful around them. Sincerely, me, who was once propositioned by my 50-year-old former professor whom I thought was my friend... -speaking of that, I find that women raised like us are either hyper-suspicious or completely oblivious to that sort of attention. I fell on the oblivious side-this can be dangerous. Be free, go crazy, have all the fun you can possibly have, but have a backup plan too. -one more, sorry. When it comes to relationships, I strongly recommend against getting serious (cohabitating and such) with anyone until you've fully broken the programming. You can end up playing mommy to some useless dude without even realizing it. It might even feel good. You might tell yourself that it's just how you show love. BONK. Nope, it's that christian wifey programming. It takes a long time to deconstruct and if you aren't careful you may open your eyes in 6 years and realize that you've been living with a dude who is feeding off of you, who you're codependent with, while neither of y'all is actually happy. Lol... Who would that happen to... Not I.... Not _again_ anyway...... Sorry for long crazy post, congrats for getting out and living your own life 🥂💖

as a head up- the greek/christian "Agape" is not pronounced "A gape", it's pronounced "uh-Gah-pay" (I'm trying my best I swear, if someone knows a better phonetic way to spell it, by all means lmk). its also incredibly ironic that GD focuses on that word at one point. So, agape has a few definitions, depending on if you use it in the Greek or Christian context (technically they're the same word, just slightly different connotations based on use and situation). The Christian Agape is a kind of pure, transcendental love that god and his followers are supposed to feel for each other (or something like that, I've never been totally certain- the few people I've talked to always change what it means on me). but the GREEK Agape is pure, genuine, unconditional love, to the point that you would sacrifice yourself for them if the need arose. It also is referred to as a general love for your fellow humans- that no matter what, you believe that humanity has worth and feel compassion for them, no matter their choices or situations. not me ragging on you for your pronunciation- heavens know I mispronounce shit all the time. just thought you'd maybe like to know how, as well as maybe a bit of context for the word itself.

A huge Thank You for pointing out that is Kristin wasn't infertile, there is no way they would be so accepting of non biological children. How Bethany acts regarding her own kids is how they both would act if Kristin was able to have her kids biologically. I was raised catholic and opted out when my parents allowed me to around age 16, but the end of this video reminded me of one of the ideas that really sealed the deal for me as a child that I thought Christianity was awful - the notion that all of the millions of people who aren't even given the opportunity to learn that catholicism exists, are going to hell. I remember thinking about that as a kid so much and it feeling so deeply incredibly wrong on so many levels.

As far as I remember fro Sunday school, that part is being re-interpreted over time, At least my priest said that according to Catholicism, good people would still go to heaven, no matter their religion. I’m personally more worried about Pope Francis calling child-free people who prefer to have pets over kids or people who don’t want kids sub-human and the fact that women will never enjoy equal power in the Church because “all apostles were male” (they also were not filthy rich, that part somehow didn’t translate to the Catholic church 😇), as explained to me by priests.

tbf tho, christian homeschooling and non-religious homeschooling are wildly different things. christian homeschooling is a cult at least 95% of the time. like, literally, they just seek to indoctrinate you and actively prevent you from learning properly about non-religious schooling. my non-religious homeschooling just involved spending a lot of time around hippy vegans and playing outdoors with my friends. sure i’ve never sat through a physics class but i can read and do maths and i’m gonna study psychology at university despite having never attended school. my parents didn’t homeschool me because they thought they could teach me everything school would.

As a Christian myself, and as a woman, this book made me embarrassed... Like, I know not every religion is taught the way mine is, but if you read the bible, like the basic stories, God was very empowering of the woman, even defining the womanhood as more closely related to divinity than men, using women of all backgrounds to teach values and strength. It deeply upsets me when people like this girls encourage such toxic Christianism and praise themselves for teaching biblically inaccurate information and disrespecting people that do not have the same beliefs as them
