Wild Camping Lake District | Road Trip with Mates

Spent 5 days road tripping round the lake district and wild camping with two good mates, really beautiful location with some amazing camp spots and company, even got to see Scarfell Pike (britains highest mountain and attempted hardknotts pass. Was cold whilst we were there, dropping down to -8, I was gutted it didn't snow.
Hopefully will revisit the lakes sometime next year.

Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England, Snowdonia is the highest in Wales, and the highestin Britain is Ben Nevis in Scotland, nice to see a youngster talking about the Lakes with such passion, hope you come back soon.

Another cracking video and another epic looking trip. Sorry for correcting you, but the deepest lake in the world is Lake Baikal in Russia. The deepest in the UK is Loch Morar.. Great stuff though and thanks for keeping us in the loop...☺

You all had a nice time there hiking and camping out in the tents and it must have been great to be out enjoying nature. It is very cold there with the water so cold and ice everywhere and you all must have made the best of it. Once you get back home you can show and tell about what all you have seen and let the family know just how nice Scotland was.

All I've done all day is watch your videos. What I love about them is it's abundantly clear that you absolutely LOVE being outdoors. You never moan, you take every experience, be it rain, wind or shine and smile your way through it all. You are also learning as you go and your enthusiasm is infectious. Although I'm English, I live in Barcelona and go out wild camping in the mountains when I can, which is beautiful. While in this lockdown situation I'll probably watch most of your videos as I'm hoping to go to Scotland and the lakes once all this is over. The little house you stayed in with the wood stove in Scotland looked incredible so I'm going to check that out. Thanks ever so much for the great videos, seriously, they are helping me get through this situation and helping me plan for my trips in the future. Keep up the great work, you're a natural.

@@GirlOutdoors yes, the weather here is ok, although in the mountains can still get cold but with the right equipment it's ok. Please can you tell me, what is the name of the place with the wood burning stove or is it only for members of the mountaineering club? Going to watch the bell tent video today, always loved the idea of having a bit of land and living in one of those, or a yurt. Wood burning stove helps of course. As a non-Englishman, the Lake District can be anywhere you forgot to tell where, I have no idea. Would definitely say it's the most beautiful place I've seen in a very long time, now just watched your video for the second time and is just fascinated again. Some stunning scenery in this one Becky. Scarfeld pike is the highest point in England, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Britain. Hi Becky my name’s Stuart and I love the Lake District, if you want to find out more about Alfred Wainwright and what he actually accomplished, and how he is revered in the Lakes have a search for him on KZbin, because in about the 80’s when he was himself was quite old he went around the lakes on visits to his old haunts with the BBC before he kicked the bucket! Try and read his story, because he is indeed Mr Lake District!

What a beautiful area, What history. Those stone houses are an awesome sight. The circle of rocks makes you wonder. (like Stonehenge). You said camping and bushcrafting gives you a sense of well-being. Yes, it seems you connect with nature. I think you're a down-to-earth person (that's probably where the saying comes from:).
