Cliffe Knechtle has a great conversation with college students at a campus in the southwest US.
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Cliffe how often do you open air preach a month, and have you had any problems with your voice? By the way God has used your ministry to equip and inspire me in my year of evangelical training!

At no point does this man stoop low. He is kind in all his words. His conclusions are all just and kind. He speaks about Jesus and his goodness. All I’m seeing is good, so if I must be brainwashed by anything please let it be this kind of goodness.

God allows our bad choices to reach their final conclusions not because he hates us, but rather so we can see for ourselves the results of choosing evil over good. This is a point many times left out that I realized that helped me to see the bigger picture.

I think I heard or read somewhere that if you enable someone to sin, you got some extra repenting to do. This regarding all the people who were abused by Christians or turned away by the hypocrisy of other Christians.

Thanks for this video. Keep in mind that Bill Gates plays God more than he follows God's instructions and has hurt this world more than helped it. So it doesn't matter as much what Gates says, what matters is what he does and too much is too harmful. Peace

The student said his mom will never give up on him basically saying God gives up whereas his mother wouldn’t. How long do you expect someone to pursue you if you keep saying “leave me alone”. Eventually you have to accept that someone wants nothing to do with you. And God gives more than enough time for a great majority of humanity. To me it sounds like “I want to live how I want to live until I’m ready, even if that is my last moment.” As if you know your last moment and have time to repent. Which is why saints are given a crown according to their work for the kingdom while enjoying salvation and working to bring others to salvation. You may be lucky enough to make a death bed conversion but because you waited till the finish line of mortality you make it to God but just, which is still magnificent in of itself.

An important thing to consider about the problem of evil is this; evil is self-defeating and pathetic. Any suffering people experience at the hands of evil is washed away when they accept the gift of grace and salvation from Christ. The goodness of God is eternal. The evil of the world, and the one who rules it, is temporary and lesser. The problem of evil becomes much less of a problem when we consider the bigger picture that is God's plan for salvation.

Here's a BEAUTIFUL example of God's "mercy" in the New Testament... Acts 5:1-10 GW A man named Ananias and his wife Sapphira sold some property. They agreed to hold back some of the money ⌞they had pledged⌟ and turned only part of it over to the apostles. Peter asked, “Ananias, why did you let Satan fill you with the idea that you could deceive the Holy Spirit? You’ve held back some of the money you received for the land. While you had the land, it was your own. After it was sold, you could have done as you pleased with the money. So how could you do a thing like this? You didn’t lie to people but to God!” When Ananias heard Peter say this, he dropped dead. Everyone who heard about his death was terrified. Some young men got up, wrapped his body in a sheet, carried him outside, and buried him. About three hours later Ananias’ wife arrived. She didn’t know what had happened. So Peter asked her, “Tell me, did you sell the land for that price?” She answered, “Yes, that was the price.” Then Peter said to her, “How could you and your husband agree to test the Lord’s Spirit? Those who buried your husband are standing at the door, and they will carry you outside for burial.” Immediately, she dropped dead in front of Peter. When the young men came back, they found Sapphira dead. So they carried her outside and buried her next to her husband.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Cliffe makes an interesting point at about 18:00, he says "every single culture has people who believe in God, we are hard wired with an innate drive to know God". I think that's true that all civilizations have come up with their own version of God, ancient civilizations around the world have built their own amazing monuments to their particular God, whether it be in ancient Egypt, South America, here in the UK (Stonehenge) or dozens of other regions all over the globe. Could it be that they were simply trying to answer those difficult questions of life 'who are we, where did we come from, what is the meaning of life?' I think we all have an innate desire to ask those questions. Could it be that the true answer is simply beyond our comprehension. If God truly came down to this planet in human form 2,000 years ago with a message of redemption for all of mankind, why did it take nearly 1,500 years for that message to reach America?, God/Jesus could have placed that innate sense of knowing him into every single person at the same time across every single continent.

The question is why do they all come to the same assumption?

Pex Uluiviti That's a good question Pex, I guess it's a desire to answer a question that has eluded mankind since we've been able to ask it of ourselves. Just like today, every civilization thought they have the right answer, I live fairly close to the Stonehenge monument in Wiltshire England, it's about 4-5000 years old, it appears to be built as a place of worship to the Sun, in a way, I can see why they would worship the Sun, it helped grow their crops, it kept them warm, they knew it's exact location in the sky. In a way, it would seem very logical to worship this object in the sky, at least they could see their Sun-god, which you can't say about any of today's Gods, whether it be the Christian, Islamic, Hindu God or any other Gods. I feel pretty sure if I didn't have all of this scientific knowledge which has been gathered over the last few hundred years, I would almost certainly be a believer in some kind of God. It's like a human longing to want to know what is around the next corner, but because it's just out of our reach, we conjure up stories which satisfy our curiosity to some extent.

3AD COUSE Yes true, but logically, it's very possible that every single God that mankind has invoked/invented call it what you will, is wrong, and that the real 'truth' whatever that may be, is beyond our comprehension. The human mind has it's limitations, Is there one single human being on the planet who can say with absolute 100% certainty that the supernatural realm exists and that he can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists?. I'm sure that person can convince himself, and fellow believers that God exists, but try convincing someone of a rival faith, or a skeptic of this particular God and you run into problems. I just did a quick google search for the 'cleverest people alive', going through the top 20 names, I couldn't find any who were particularly religious or who had a strong faith in any religion. Does that prove God does not exist? Absolutely not, but it begs the question, why does God appear to be so hidden from his creation? Has God/Jesus spoken to you 3AD?, if so, how did he communicate with you, and what did he say?

Why are humanity broken from within, because of our inherited sinful nature that took place in The Eden! All humanity are guilty of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, why maybe you ask? Because our inherited sin is our foundation on which we commit all our personal sins, therefore we are all murderers, even tho we do not like to hear it or admit it, but that is still the truth about who we are sins the Fall! God in human form did pay for our freedom in Him, if we want to repent and invite Jesus to Baptize us in Fire by His Holy Spirit, He promised to take you in if you truly want him within you as your Lord and Savior! He do not force, but do not think that you are of the hook from your guilt without Jesus! Jesus' pure Blood washes us white as snow, undeservedly! Eventually in the end, only a fool would reject Jesus! Only a fool says in his heart; There is no God! Romans Chap: 10 verses 9, 10.

One thing is I don’t agree is if u know about Jesus u have to accept him because he die for your sins u can’t reject Jesus if u know about him and go to heaven if u don’t know Jesus but u put god first then u can see heaven but if u know Jesus and love god but reject Jesus I can’t believe he is going to heaven because he’s rejecting Jesus to clean him and change his life just saying
