I wouldn't worry about anyone's accent. I don't think any actor could do a 2000 year old Mediterranean accent. It's like Kevin Costner in Robin Hood. He spoke his normal way no problem, he's great. Can't wait for this one.

agreed, in russel crowe still had a bit of his new zealand accent in the first. Whilst it is the norm for actors to have british accents in historical epics (300 for example). I think denzil is so good an actor we suspend our disbelief.
