Some tips that have helped me lose weight consistently: 1. Eat savory breakfast 2. Eat more meals with small portions 3. Walk after meals, or do a 20,30 min walking workout while watching tv shows or podcast. 4. Eat your veggies first. 5. Have a list of easy healthy snacks and meals. 6. Stop thinking about your meals, diet etc all the time, being obssesive. 7. Remember one meal wont change anything.

More than any of this, I'd say the key thing is to understand there's no cookie cutter solution and that everyone's body is different so experiment and find what works for you. I, for example, don't feel the urge to snack all day or between meals but I do tend to eat a lot in one sitting. So I eat just one meal a day and make sure it's within my caloric range. And it's been working for me. I went from 308 to 247 pounds (or 140 to 112 kilos) and that's with a couple diet breaks in between. And I eat whatever I want, just make sure my calories are accounted for.

@@tarafb8315 she mention 10 hacks, I just follow 2 of them, 1 cup of salad spring mix before any meal or crave and the order of each food. First salad, second protein and fat, and finally carbohydrates. After 10 days of eating in this way I realized my pains were reduced by 90%, I had huge amounts of energy, my mental fog vanished, and without realizing I was doing 2 meals during the day and intermittent fasting without starving. My problem was my insulin resistance. I knew about insuline resistance like 15 years ago but I was unable to cope with my cravings, so I started eating the salad first and I was very sceptical at first but it has been the most important medicine for me, Popeye was right, spinach first and you will be healthy and very strong.

The tips from Jessie: 1. eat savory breakfast, not carbs on breakfast 2. snacks has to be treated as any meal. No snacks is better 3. a glass of water with a spoon of vinegar 15min before meal is cutting the glycemic response with 30% 4. eat vegetables first, in the meal. Ideally with a spoon of vinegar (if point 3 was not possible) 5. meal order to eat: vegetables, protein, and after fat+ carbs + sweets. 6. walk 10min after meal 7. feed the body, don't go severe restrictions 8. if 90min after meal I have cravings /sleepiness, this is glycemic failing down reaction post a not proper meal for my body. 9. all sugars are sugars. Honey/syrups included. That is painful for me :) 10. not hunting perfection, if one meal is not perfect, I can do it better next meal.

@@isabellaemmanuilidis0402 maybe you need to eat a little more? try more protein since its the most filling... Ok, so 4oz is just 100gr... If you're not eating any carbs I can imagine that's not enough at all. try at least 7 or 8 oz. And also remember to eat diverse food so you're not deficient in the vitamin department :) I'm not a nutritionist or anything, though, so maybe try to find a nutritionist or doctor to talk about your diet

Every night, ever since I was 18, I've been afraid of dying while I sleep. I don't have diabetes, but still, my glucose levels spiked during the night. My heart raced to a level I thought it was going to explode, and it happened almost every night, while I was totally conscious of it. The doctors told me nothing was wrong with me. I suffered from intense anxiety due to this, and every night, while experiencing it, I used to think "this is it". One of my classmates in the masters told me about another woman that suffered the same that I was describing. He told me her life changed because of this method, so I bought the book. My life really changed and I haven't had these spikes anymore. You just can't understand how grateful I am.

She is mainly selling her pills to (sugar) add!cts. And, if you follow her "hacks," she will have life-long customers because her "hacks" never make you deal with your add!ction. Notice how, in this video, she says your cravings will be "reduced," but she never says, "eliminated?" I cut out all carbs about three years ago. It *_COMPLETELY ELIMINATED_* my food cravings. I was so add!cted to sugar (carbs) that I used to lie to my wife so I could sneak out and buy ice cream cones with cash so she couldn't see my purchases. Now I can sit in a room of my friends as they eat ice cream and have no desire for even one bite of it. What this "goddess" is doing is promoting a *_deeply twisted_* business model which relies on keeping you add!cted to sugar so you are forever motivated to buy her supplements. It would be like someone selling an alc•holic pills that reduce the damage caused by alc•hol, but never actually helping the alc•holic break their add!ction - customers for life.

It allowed me to force change even at his dad’s. In the past few months I’ve had him focus on your protocols and forced his dad to watch your education and make the changes also and had him choose a community fitness class and target 30minutes minimum exercise daily. He has lost almost 30lb so far and has more energy, has found new veggies he loves, loves his savory breakfast and we have treats sparingly within these guidelines mostly. Even eliminated 99% of added sugars ❤ he doesn’t even crave junk at this point and loves bringing his nutrition to school instead of eating the crap in the school system. 🥰

This is all true I tested. For me, no more than 3 meals, breakfast, lunch dinner Nothing in between. I eat a meal that is not going to spike my glucose level, start by salad, adding cooked vegetable stew, meat, lentils…. So many options. I have not touched sugary food for 3 month, have no desire. The only thing I am eating is dark chocolate 88%. I was pre diabetic and after 5 months no more, my cholesterol level is still high but went down 40 points. I feel no hunger between meals it’s like what I eat fully nourishes my body. Thank you for getting me rid of my sugar addiction

Hello, could you provide an example of what you eat in a day and the order?
@VB-ol1kn
@VB-ol1kn 9 күн бұрын
I start the day with breakfast: either Ezekiel bread toasted with avocado and egg on top or I use a receipt from her book: I make my own granola : mix walnut, pumpkin seeds almonds that I roast with a teaspoon of coconut oil and mix cinnamon powder. I put this roasted mixture in a container and keep it for couple days. I use it with strawberries and blueberries and yogurt: that is my second option for breakfast. Lunch: start by green salad, ok to make your own dressing: lemon, vinegar, olive oil and mustard. Add your legumes: lentils, beans, with or without meat. Evening, steamed brocolis, zucchinis, cauliflower and salmon or chicken. I also cook vegetable stews with pressure cooker. I also eat artichokes instead of salad to start the lunch if I am tired of salad. The key: you have to start by your greens with fiber. When you have a craving ( at the beginning) : mix the homemade granola with yogurt and add the berries. In between the meals if you need anything: dark chocolate high percentage . Hope it helps

No butter, no junk food, no saturated fat, no pasta and no rice . And no desire for none of these. I followed the author’s step and bought her book. The first 10 days were hard but now after all this time , my eating habits have changed. I may have had pasta or rice maybe 3 to 5 times because may have had no other option but no desire for it anymore. I don’t care for junk food anymore, I used to really like potato chips and now I got rid of this addiction

You need to add that to be metabolically flexible you need to exercise . Exercizing means moving muscles . Moving muscles requires energy . The catch is muscles can take sugars directly from blood , they do not need insulin to transport energy to their cells . Exercizing should off load pressure from insulin , and pave the way towards burning fat after blood sugar becomes low from exercise .

Yes, that’s an important point! Bread can cause a spike in blood sugar, which may lead to cravings for dessert later on. It’s a good idea to be mindful of those initial carbs. Choosing lighter starters or focusing on protein and veggies can help stabilize your blood sugar and reduce cravings. It’s all about finding balance!

Idk if your style/fashion for your videos is your style for your life, but I'd like to think so. You're so unique in what you offer and the way you offer it. That's super interesting. Because I also noticed once I started my plant-based diet that I don't crave that much sugar anymore. Sure, it was nice (and still is) to have something sweet from time to time, but I could go without those. It's because once you eat a lot of vegetables, greens, as well as healthy fats, and when it comes to carbohydrates you choose the complex ones (so e.g. wholegrain bread), not simple ones, then you don't crave sugar that much. And also, because there is enough sugar already in groceries already - e.g. ketchups or certain brands of pasta sauce; it can be shocking how much sugar is there. Some products that were not supposed to taste sweet, tasted sweet, and that was disgusting. And savoury breakfast or no breakfast (if we do intermittent fasting) is a way to go, I absolutely agree with that lady.

Here is a free critique! I like the video. I think you did a good job. It is book promotion, of course. But you give some basic principles and perspectives that are immediately useful. Considering mind-set and expectations and addressing that up front I feel is very helpful. Focusing on health and proper function, and gaining insights that can be applied to eating choices and behavior I believe is also very genuinely helpful. I like that you give some simple suggestions people can use immediately. Ordering the kinds of food you eat or your activity levels around eating, and the impacts those can have on glucose spikes is insightful. I can walk away from this video having learned something useful and having my interest teased should I want to learn more (and perhaps buy the books). Basically, you gave me a free sample that was more than just a tease. I did not feel pressure to pursue the books. But, rather, left with lingering curiosity that may readily lead that way. Good work! Regarding the aesthetics used in production: Using the hand-held camera video was a neat idea. But the video was way too shaky for reading along. Too late for a finished video. But to plant a seed, there are software programs that can steady the shake in the video should you want to use the same gag again, or some variation. The visual styling of the video was neat. It certainly stands out. Very clean, minimal color, save for accent, and very static, putting all the attention on the colorful and dynamic character (you). Meanwhile, none of it is too distracting, making it easy to focus on what you're saying. Also, good! Here are some kudos, a nice comment, and an algorithmic boost for your well considered efforts. 🙂

What you’re explaining is so rooted in our traditional way of eating. I’m from India, we mostly have vegetarian meals for most part and non-vegetarian food are usually reserved for weekends or say 2-3 days a week. Our meals consist of Rice and loads of side dishes full of veggies, from green leaves to lentils and nuts , pickles, and yogurt. We normally always start with rice and add veggies to it.. but I guess, I’ll now have to start with the side wishes and work my way into the rice. Which means I won’t be hungry enough by the time I’ve moved to the rice.
