23:34 In Exodus 3.6, the ‘He’ is God speaking, NOT the angel. You have incorrectly stated it is the angel speaking. The proof that it is God speaking and not the angel is found in verse 4: “God called to Him.”

Hey Sean, To understand this matter a little more I suggest that you read "Phanarosis" by Dr. John Thomas or "Unlocking the Mystery" by Jason Hensley which both touch on the subject of "God-Manifestation" or "Angel Agency". I would also refer you to Gen. 32:30 and Hos. 12:4, both passages talk about the same moment yet one states that Jacob wrestled with God and another that Jacob wrestled with an angel. God is often represented by his angels and "his name is in them" (Ex. 23:21-22), after all, "no man hath seen God at any time" (John 1:18) and God said that "no man can see Me and live!" (Ex. 33:20). So it would make sense to keep in mind that sometimes when God (in the term "Elohim" or "mighty ones") is mentioned it can mean God manifested in an angelic messenger. Hope this helps

Forgetting that man (son of Adam) is a triune being created in the image of God, and whether we are speaking at the moment about a body or a spirit or a soul, it's easy to confuse ourselves which entity the scripture is speaking about. That's a new one for me to have people think people are a trinity. Soul is the body, the power of God sustains our life and when that power is removed we die. There is no consciousness in death and our only hope is to be raised to judgement at the return of God. It is quite different considering the context and implications of these two words. "Bible" is another word for "the book" or "the books" which appears around 181 times in some versions of the Bible (for example, "the book of the law of Moses" in Josh 8:31). It is hardly different from "the scriptures", a term which is used multiple times by Jesus when referring to the Old Testament. When we say "the Bible", we are simply suggesting the idea of the book. The word "Trinity" on the other hand is completely different. It indicates an entirely philosophical concept derived largely from Greek ideology and Roman Catholic Theology which is quite alien from the Jewish roots of the scriptures - it talks about a "Tri-Unity" which is far removed from Biblical thought. This is surely what the apostle Paul warned about when he said to avoid "the profound newness of words". I feel that this is hardly a valid reason in favor of the Trinity. Even if one was to prove to me that Jesus is God and that the Holy Spirit is an impersonal being (and God) I would still be inclined not to use the term "Trinity", for it is completely unbiblical, unlike the word "Bible" as I explained above. Revelations chapters 2 through 3 are the seven letters to the churches in Asia, and these letters are prefaced with Rev. 1:4-8 and verse 5 and 6 specifically states "and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." The letters to the churches seem to be focused on the creation of the new kingdom on earth, of which Christ is the "firstborn of the dead." But for more context if we read through the letters you'll see the language "I will come," "I will confess his name before my father," and "I am coming." Rev. 3:12 says "The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name." We can also look at this other description of Christ given before the letter to Smyrna (Rev. 2:8) "The words of the first and the last, who died and came to life." Putting this all together, it seems we are looking forward to a future event, the creation of the new kingdom of God on earth, of which Christ will be the ruler. Christ is the firstborn of the dead and a witness to the beginning of this creation which "comes down from my God out of heaven, and from my own new name." Colossians 1 is actually a really interesting chapter as well and helps tie together the two ideas that Christ is "the firstborn of the dead" and "the beginning of God's creation." If we read 1 Col 15-20, we see that Christ is called "the firstborn over all creation," "the beginning," and "the firstborn of the dead." If we read Ephesians 2:10, we see that Christ is indeed the beginning in the sense that "we are created in Christ Jesus." When we are baptized, we are baptized into his death (Rom. 6:3) in order to walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:4). We are therefore to have a resurrection like his (Rom. 6:5) and thus he is the beginning. Being in Christ, we are part of the new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). Christ therefore is the first to die and be resurrected, the beginning of our walk in newness of life through baptism, and therefore the first step in the salvation and creation that will come with the creation of the kingdom to come. There is prophecy all through scripture that a man of flesh Messiah would be born not created. If he were God he would had not had to study the Bible at all to learn his position. The angels spoke to him for 30 plus years. They were involved in his training until it was the right time to show himself to the existing world. What would be the point in praying to himself. The word spirit means breath, wind, power and speech. It’s only used if an angel’ Yahweh or Jesus was speaking after his resurrection in the books after the gospels. Both Hebrew and Greek don’t have pronouns. So pronouns had to be added in by translators. Translators can be biased and so it goes The trinity was added to Christianity in 325 CDE because of a controversy between two bishops in Alexander, Egypt. Constantine the Great was tired of the bickering. He chose a side and the Nicene Creed was created. That’s when the Roman pagan holidays were joined with Christianity. False doctrine was already being added at the end of Acts, the letters of Peter, Jude, and John. The anti christ teaching was created when Pope commissioned a Spanish Jesuit Priest to rewrite scripture in a commentary to draw Christians away from the woman on the beast Catholicism, to the time period of Christs’s return. Every thing he said is a parallel to Catholicism. Notice there is the lamb as Christ but there is a lamb with horns. The lamb with horns is the Pope or anti christ. Anti means against Christ.

@@fayjberry The main one I think would be the atoning work of Jesus. If Jesus existed as God before his birth, then it brings into question verses like Heb 4:15 'in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.' James 1:13 says ' God cannot be tempted with evil' and so if Jesus was God that would have made him immune from temptation, and therefore unable to sin. Jesus had to be a mortal man sharing our sinful nature so that he could properly represent us, and so that his victory over sin was real and complete. If he was already God then he would not have overcome sin, because with no possibility to sin, what was there to overcome? He went with our mortal sinful nature and allowed it to be nailed to the cross, signifying its destruction. He could only do this because he had first overcome it being sinless. Like Goliath had to be overcome with the stone, before David could cut off his head. Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil (sinful nature); Also in Heb 2:18 'For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.' If Jesus were already God he couldn't have suffered because he couldn't be tempted. This would make him unable to succour or help us, which would be a great loss indeed.

What we understand is that the Angel of the Lord ‘overshadowed’ Mary, and ‘implanted’ the seed within the womb of the woman, and she did become ‘with child’ by that implantation of a seed which had been taken from the body of David and preserved for such an occasion as was deemed right by God, the Father and the Holy Creator!! And if God, the Holy Creator, can transfer living matter which is unseen by the naked eye, from one mortal being to another mortal, ( from male to female ) , how can anyone dispute that God can transfer living matter, taken from David, directly to a chosen human being ( Mary ) at the appointed time??

The Bible word should always be our truth. In Luke 1:26, the angel Gabriel was sent to explain to Mary what was going to happen to her. In verse 35, he says ‘ the Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God. Mary’s cousin Elisabeth had become pregnant through miraculous intervention. Verse 37 states ‘For with God nothing shall be impossible’. God’s power (Holy Spirit) has creative abilities. It is probable that Gabriel was directing this power under God’s instruction. Joseph, confused by his betrothed being pregnant, considered putting her aside, but he had the angel if the Lord appear to him in a dream and explained the divine purpose for her child and he believed.
