I was born with my right leg wrapped around my left leg. The result was lots of doctors visits as they didn't think I would ever be able to walk. Luckily the doctor that was there when I was born did a really good job of straightening my leg out. The result is my right leg is 2.5 inches shorter than my left. My mom took me to a Benny Hinn concert when I was like 8 or 9 to have me "healed". We got up to the steps of the stage and oddly enough they quit taking people up to be healed. There is a way to lengthen a leg in medical science. They break the bone and surgically place a piece of mesh around the bone so that the bone will grow more bone to fill in the gap. The mesh acts like a scaffold for the new bone to grow. I would assume there is a lot of pain involved in that procedure and a lot of time where your leg would be in a cast.
@corystern11809 ай бұрын
@rhondah1587 yeah I had the option to do that in like 6th grade and decided not to. They were going to stick pins in my leg that you turn every day to gradually break the bone till it healed to the correct length. There is probably a better procedure now as this was about 30 years ago.

"I can't believe someone would actually think a leg could or would just grow" Personally I would be highly suspicious of such a claim, but given the proper evidence I could potentially change my mind. And I would not consider an Internet video to be proper evidence. I would prefer something like a preponderance of experts on human anatomy agreeing that the claim appeared to be factual and explainable. But yes, until such evidence is provided, I too would find it very hard to believe that reasonable person would actually think that a leg could or would just grow. 🙂

How does god express his love to a bunch of organisms that came about billions of years after a small planet came about orbiting a sun that came about billions of years after the universe came about? Well, first, he would send some physical avatar, impregnating a teenager wothout consent, during a pretty primitive time in the culture of the organism, in a tiny location on the planet for a tiny fraction of time. And then he would cause that avatar to be killed and say that it was all done to erase the "sins" of those organisms. But don't erase those sins and require them to admit that they are "sinners". And if they don't, threaten eternal punishment. Yep. Really "loving".

Paulogia made an interview with the scientist in question and the process of the discovery of the "blood" wasn't like hey look here it is. She dissovelved the bone in some chemicals for hours and it was long complex process. So of course she would be nervous to publish that, because science is about double checking. Every paleontologist with hole in their butt would be looking over her work critically. What if she made a mistake in the process? She would look like a fool in front of her entire field. So if he can't provide at least exact quote which would say that she is worried that sciencist would reject it on the base that it is "against dogma" rather then there being mistakes his argument it's pointless.

Seems like she didn’t make the initial discovery, and was skeptical, and did science to write that paper! According to Smithsonian magazine, “She was having a hard time getting the slices to stick to a glass slide, so she sought help from a molecular biologist at the university. The biologist, Gayle Callis, happened to take the slides to a veterinary conference, where she set up the ancient samples for others to look at. One of the vets went up to Callis and said, “Do you know you have red blood cells in that bone?” Sure enough, under a microscope, it appeared that the bone was filled with red disks. Later, Schweitzer recalls, “I looked at this and I looked at this and I thought, this can’t be. Red blood cells don’t preserve.””

The most obnoxious scientific assertion possible was that the Universe is *not* infinitely old. One of the most skilled and imaginative cosmologists, the astrophysicist Fred Hoyle, said "You mean it all just started with a Big Bang?" or words to that effect. The proposition was so shocking that he and two others calculated what rate of matter creation, presumably of hydrogen atoms mostly in empty space (of which there's plenty) would be required to balance the thinning out of the expansion we can observe. It turned out to be too small to have been noticed, or observable. But their Steady State Theory, which available evidence then did not refute, implied that a sufficiently ancient sample of a more densely populated Universe would refute it. When a sufficiently distant big sample was detected, the majority of astrophysicists including Hermann Bondi, one of the Steady State three, concluded it was the Big Bang indeed that was the First Event, implying that it alone was the only event that Did Not have a cause.

This argument of "obviousity" is going from childhood. When child grows in a home it sees only human-made objects like furniture, books, toys. And it sees that every object has its purpose! So, those who claim that the world is obviously created by someone and has a purpose, that person is just stuck in childhood.
