Silent Mike doing deadlift multiple(2-3) days a week and slipping accessory lifts in on non-DL days. Adequate calories and rest.

Mike you've made it. When you type in "Silent M" into the search bar the first result is Silent Mike and the 2nd result is Silent Movies. You are now more popular than Charlie Chaplin and the origins of modern cinema, congrats

Hey Mike, Love the content, character, and entertainment. Been powerlifting for about 3 years, really dialed in form over the past year, finally got my nutrition in check with the vertical diet, my missing link being programming. I've focused the last 2 months on hypertrophy to give my joints and tissues a break. My upcoming meet is September 28th, I've done 2 cycles of hypertrophy and with roughly 3 months +peak should I go strength hypertrophy strength or keep on the hypertrophy train for another 2 months and strength and peak in August and September?

In answer to the first question, I'm pretty sure too much ejaculation reduces the efficiency of androgen receptors being able to produce testosterone. Idk how much of an effect this would have though.

Hey Mike does sprinting help with the squat and deadlift?
@krztuszenie
@krztuszenie 6 жыл бұрын
It helps. Check Johnny Candito video about it :)
@schippyo
@schippyo 6 жыл бұрын
I would say rather the opposite is the case. The Squat and deadlift is beneficial for your sprinting ability. Getting better at sprinting might help a little bit, but the effect or benefit is much smaller

this has a lot to do with how strong you are. If you are somebody that doesnt do a lot of Sports but recently started squatting and now you do some Sprints every now and than sure it well help cause your Body is so weak literally everything will make you stronger. If you are somebody like silent mike whos Body adepted to Training and other exercise over many many year it will not make his squat or deadlift better. The more advanced you get the more specific you Need to be. Its easy to get somebody weak stronger and hard to get someone strong even stronger.

Am I wrong for thinking your sumo should be more upright and that you should get more of your weight behind the bar and in more of a "squat"?
@SilentMike
@SilentMike 6 жыл бұрын
My body wont allow this- shoulders directly on bar. With aonger torso and shorter arms this is best i can get

I am built like you, and I feel fine when I "pull like Belkin" as the guy above said.I usually do conventional, but if it feels right for me that way, should I do the shoulders above the bar thing?I am still learning sumo...
