Golden Crispy Gluten Free Churros | Sweet n Savory Gluten Free

These golden crispy gluten free churros are a party favorite and can be enjoyed and devoured from a safe distance apart. They are made with simple, hearty ingredients. You can enjoy them with just cinnamon sugar, or dip in a silky smooth hot chocolate/mocha sauce for extra indulgence!
Ingredients:
Churros:
2 cups water
8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups Qiao’s all purpose gluten free flour
(blend does not contain xanthan gum)
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum (omit if blend has it)
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Mocha Dipping Sauce:
2 cups dark chocolate
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon instant coffee (optional)
1 1/2 cup heavy cream

Thank you for this yummy recipe, and for including the recipe in the video! My son has not had a churro for FOURTEEN years. The last time was when he was in kindergarten. When I came across your video I knew I had to make this for him. It totally made his day and he was so happy. These are beyond decadent! We don't fry anything in our house, and this will definitely be the exception :-) yum!!! We ran out of patience piping the churros, so half way through we made small dough balls...churro holes! If you are reading this and don't have a piping head, just make churro balls. They are bite sized and yummy. Thank you again for this awesome receipe.

Cinnamon, sugar, and chocolate. It's a love affair made in heaven (if there's such a thing..) I used to get churros from Costco food court. These gluten free versions tasted just like the regular ones!
