Stephen A. makes a great point. No one remembers that 3 pointer that was made at the start of a game when you were fresh. However, everyone remembers that 3 pointer that you made at the end of the game when the pressure is on you and the game is on the line. Would Jordan or Kobe have simply thrown the ball to a teammate and said "go get me the W?" Jordan and Kobe would have demanded the ball to be in their hands. They would have wanted to be the person who either scores or gets to the free throw line to bail out their teams. That has always been LeBron's biggest criticism. He disappears in the 4th when the game is on the line. Other players have to step up in order to win the game. How can LeBron say with a straight face that he's "chasing the ghost of Michael Jordan", when he is afraid to take the last shot when playing on the biggest stage of the game? Had the Cavs won last night on a Kyrie shot, everyone would be praising LeBron for the win. Since they lost, people are trying to blame Kyrie. My dude Kyrie, balled his ass off last night. LeBron obviously didn't want the shot and threw it to Kyrie to save the game. That is not the action that a supposed "GOAT" who is trying to eclipse Jordan would ever take.

Given the fact that we have two of the best players in the world, it really comes down to Team play. Golden State who can obviously contest with the Cavs without KD, have proven that. But now with KD, they have an unstoppable back court that nobody has been able to contest to... yet! Lebrons preformance was great but undermined because the lack of effort/talent his team had (as a whole) compared to the Warriors. You can only do so much to carry a team regardless who you are. LeBron was better than KD. 1. KD gets to shoot so many easy shots thanks to the ball movement and talent of the support from Warriors. 2. KD can afford to play fewer minutes thanks to the backup firepower from Warriors 3. He also doesn't have the burden of carrying the entire team on the back of his mind Given these circumstances and the fact that Lebron still managed to put those numbers, LeBron is the better player.

That is true, but Cleveland revolving around LeBron also means that Golden State can focus on defending LeBron. This means that on average LeBron has to make many more contested and difficult shots than KD has to. Revolving around LeBron also means that he has to work harder than KD for each point, which means he is going to tire faster. Even though he played more minutes he was also given a much more challenging situation for those minutes.

truthseeker89 for life bro the whole point of this comment is saying that they have the pieces (Irving, Love, TT, JR, Kyle, Deron, etc.) but they 1. dont utilize every player on the court like the warriors (lack of ball movement Cavs offense is mostly ISO) 2. Many of those players for the most part have disappeared this series as well though like many of the Warriors role players last year. If they implement a system with Warriors/Spurs like ball movement everyone wouldn't just be standing around most of the time for them on offense.

A lot of people are looking at the wrong things and pointing to things that will only add to their point of view. Truth is, at the end of the day, Durant joined a 73-9 team that was up 3-1 last year. Reality is, Durant is on a better team than his previous years. So why are people acting surprised when Durant does things like this, whether its on Lebron or not. He doesnt have to do all of the things Lebron has or chooses to do. Tell me this, where was this Durant last year, Durant isnt doing anything different than what he is normally capable of doing. It's not that the Warriors have a better supporting cast then the Cavs, it's that the Warriors supporting cast is playing better then the Cavs. Theirs a BIG difference. Cleveland's bench I'd argue is even deeper then the Warriors, but because they are all primarily sharpshooters, the Warriors are simply loading up the perimeter with the length and quickness they have and are forcing LeBron to either constantly exert energy driving the ball every possession or make the Cavs take tough, contested 3s. This is what happens when you have a bench of elite shooters that can't do much else vs a well coached, disciplined defensive team. Don't blame LeBron's teammates when they are being given minimum opportunity to be utilized like they typically are.

Why is everyone mad? Everyone knew that the warriors were gonna win the finals the minute KD went there. So why is everyone acting as if KD did something bad. Edit: I thought this season was about what other teams could do and we saw plenty. We now know that a new promising team is coming like the bucks. If the pelicans and Spurs get what they need then it'll be amazing as well. And everyone knows about the Celtics' situation. All teams should prepare for next season because this team is gonna be better next year because they are gonna have even better chemistry next year.
