last i checked, solas LIVES in both endings. it's just a question of whether he goes willingly..and if Rook goes with him or not. heck, they can bring him back for the next one if they want.

@@matokrajniak1901Yeah you can. You wouldn’t be able to transfer it to the next game, but you could still play it and enjoy it. If the veil falls there’s no next game file that will transfer over, but you still should be able to play that for fun.

​@samflood5631 for bad ending you don't do character quests or side quests that would bring up your companion bond or faction strength up. For good ending you get all factions to highest strength and do all companion quests. For best ending you have to do a certain quest with mythal and only if you don't fight her will you get the option to redeem solas/show another way. If you had a solas romance in inquisition the inquisitor joins solas

I hated how much he betrayed us but in the end i couldnt fight him like rook said i looked forward to working with the dread wolf and i was determined to reunite solas with the inquisitor and ill always pick that choice

Because that would make it incredibly hard to make another game since there would be demons everywhere and the world would be in chaos.

@@Timothy1395the demons weren’t an issue in the old world. I have no idea where everyone is getting this demons will be everywhere crap. It would be a problem for a bit probably, but it would work itself out. They had a post veil state in an earlier version of the game. Use your damn imagination.

@@maiafay Because that is literally what happens at the beginning of the game when Solas is taking down the Veil and happened in Inquisition with the tears in the Veil. Sure the world may eventually recover from the demons and chaos but there will be a lot of casualties and who knows how long it will take for Thedas to recover. Solas says this himself.

i'm happy with the good ending including the solevellan romance. that was honestly the ending i wanted to see. the only reason i would play this game is to see the conclusion of the story.

@@lukegilbert8033 a bit dramatic don't you think :)? Yes some of the companion stuff is eye-rolling, and dialogue writing can be terrible. But the overall story arc is interesting lore wise and it's a good game graphics and mechanics wise. Don't think you should throw away 80% of the game for the 20% that can be skipped over but obviously you are free to do as you please. Just give it a chance when it's on sale, story is worth it I think.

This is literally what was set up. Hate solas? Punch him. Love him? Redeem him. In between? There's an option for that too. More ways of dealing with solas that we got for dealing with the archdemon, Meredith, and corepheus combined.

You might think that in the Inquisition or BG3 the finale is better not to make you laugh. This is probably the best ending in the series and one of the best finals in RPG games.

​@@ЕвгенийХромов-б2иI mean now that I think of it yh lol, BG3 only has better endings now because of a year worth of patches with the final Patch 7 having evil endings. It's nice that Veilguard rewards or punishes the player for how much or how little effort they put into the game.
