Great Video Anthony! I had this same shot come up last time I played. Did what I thought was a good safe but didn’t cut off the rail. I ended up winning but what you are teaching will make me more powerful player! Thank you for the video!!

First of all thank you for so many great videos. This video in particular was very informative. The actual safeties you provided weren't that great except for the last one. But the information was spot on. In fact it was exceptional for nine ball. So keep up the great work. I find that you are one of the best instructors on KZbin. I am grateful for all you have done to improve others games. You keep the video and the instructions simple and easy to comprehend. Simply one of the best.

"Dont group lowest ball on table with the 9 ball". Good advice. The Mosconi Cup has many examples of this happening, and many times ends with a win for the incoming player!

Helpful again, thanks. KZbin says I watched this already, but I have no memory of it 🤔

Thanks man and I realised Sometimes your opponent if was focused can use the same path you used to hide just to get the ball..just like with the 1st snooker you played .....hiding the rail you used is particularly is always the best

Great advice! That last one would prompt me to hand you the ball in hand. Just curious, how would you proceed from there?

For railer extended to a 5 railer by shooting it short of the pocket and hitting the last diamond on the long rail

I've asked many pros and high rated players if there is one thing you can do to improve your game what kind of drill you would recvomend

If your opponent plays a safety on you by shooting the CB directly into the OB, sometimes if you pay attention to where the OB hit the rail, you can shoot the CB at that spot, and it'll follow the same path that the OB took, leading to a legal hit on the OB.

Please say something about the mental aspect of someone getting lucky on a regular basis against you.
@dnewbi35213 жыл бұрын
sometimes it is just not in the cards for you to win, the balls truly roll funny for everyone. The sooner you come to terms with this the less you even think of luck as a factor. Any time someone calls you lucky just tell them, "the more I practice the luckier I get" best saying I ever heard on the subject of luck.

Hi Anthony, I enjoy your videos quite a bit. But I have to disagree with your shot at 13:56. You bury the 1-ball among three other balls. True, your opponent can't hit it, but even with ball in hand, you can't do anything with it either. Unless you're looking to 3-foul him, that result makes it just as hard to run out for you as it does your opponent.
@poolteacher3 жыл бұрын
It’s okay to disagree but it was SVB’s shot choice at this years Mosconi cup. Exact same situation.
@jarrod7313 жыл бұрын
Never whine about ball in hand. I just want to know what you’d do with BIH at 13:56, please? I would guess a thin that leaves opponent screwed on cueball but also knocks the 1ball into the blue/purple to get some separation?
@JustCallMeLoathesome3 жыл бұрын
@@jarrod731 Precisely my point. Mr. Beeler often talks about gaining "a distinct advantage" so he can play with "reckless abandon." That situation actually makes me play more carefully. If my opponent performed that safety on me, I would just pick up the cue ball and hand it to him. You deal with it, dude.
