I've watched a lot of your videos. You're doing a great service. I've been having significant back issues and was finally diagnosed with spondy (well, all of my lumber are not really where they should be. I started doing several of the exercises Brad demonstrated for spondy along with a lot of stretching and have really improved. I can tell I've already really improved my core strength. I've started using both the long loop bands and mini loop bands. I find they have strengths and weaknesses that compliment each other. They might not be the tool for young athletes who want to bulk up, but for old guys like me or anyone just wanting some inexpensive, easy to store, and non threatening tools to help improve functional fitness. And the different strength bands provide an easy starting point and the ability to ramp things up a bit. Add a mat and a stability ball and you can do a heck of a lot. Thanks again for your really helpful videos. Oh, and Brad, I grew up on a farm, you'll never be strong like a bull.

Bands are fantastic! They're inexpensive, and you can use them just about anywhere: outside, at work, when traveling etc. It's different than free weights because it get progressively "heavier" and it also isn't affected by gravity : when you do a curl with weights at the top of the curl you are really at rest, with bands you are still working. I have a torn rotator cuff and the bands helped me to get back to healthy faster than any of the PT exercises I was doing.

Have you tried the TRX training system? My husband bought me one for Christmas. Life changer! Love it. My pains are gone. I can get off the floor with ease. And it's only the first week of January right now as I write this. So... Less than two weeks?

Love your rubber bands. Has a nice amount of stretch. They stretch more than the Undersun bands. The heaviest is the purple band; I am curious is there anyway to get the green band? It doesn’t come with the set now. Just for a little more resistance. Thank you and love your vids, Luis

I love your channel.. Are kettlebell exercises good for someone who had cervical spine herniated disc 6-7 or should I just stick with looped bands only?Thank you
@BobandBrad3 жыл бұрын
Until you have recovered from your herniated disc, we recommend that you don't do anything too strenous. After that, kettlebell exercises will be fine.

I watched a video for exercise bands a few months ago and ordered a set from big A. When they arrived, they were nothing more than oversized rubber bands only big enough to fit around a large book. I don't know many people that are the size of a large print KJV. No, I didn't bother to send them back... but I will never purchase another set. The get-fit-quick craze is over for me.
