This is great. Provided me with the epiphany that I’m not angry because of something/someone. I’m angry because a situation didn’t go as I had planned or expected. It’s an eye-opening way of looking at it. You’re suddenly a bit less angry when you realize a lot of the emotion stems from your internal self!

As someone who has toxic parents and I really want to move out, yet i still rely on them since getting a part time job is somewhat difficult for people who don’t have experience. So I really need this meditation to calm my heart and mind so that I won’t be disrupted to learn from my toxic parents, because whenever my toxic parents talks about me my mind gets frustrated and myself being frustrated makes my mind full of anger which I can’t think properly when learning and doing assignments in my university

I'm glad I found this. I have been carrying this anger around for nearly 12 hours and I couldn't properly express it normally, it just wouldn't go. I found myself crying in the middle of this as the anger finally left and produced the emotion that caused it which was sadness. Sadness that in the situation my beliefs were cast aside and I was treated like I didn't exist. I've let that go. And I feel much better. Thank you 💖

I hope everyone on here is having a blissful day. If not, I hope wholeheartedly that things get better. Something that might uplift you is that when I was following this meditation, I was thinking about the person who hurt me today and imagined myself ignoring her as she continued with her hateful comments, and as I did, I watched her screaming 'No! Don't ignore me!!!' as she grew smaller and smaller. Remember, meditation is not about being peaceful and calm and taking a few deep breaths. It is meant to help you help yourself to get rid of any emotions that you don't want. Spreading peaceful and calm :)

Thank you. Just the reminder extend my spine and sit/ stand tall helped lift my mood. I was spiraling hard, I have been all weak seeking into a bad depression I hit my breaking point and realized I was screaming complete gibberish at my 3 year old .. I started balling becuase I never yell at him u looked around my house and how dirty it has gotten. How much I have fallen and a rage full fit of sadness, regret, hatred and anger started flooding my mind. I wanted to throw everything and just.... dissappear and sleep myself into a new version of my life. I realized my strongest emotion was anger. Anger at myself mostly and anger towards my parents for never allowing me to feel adequate like I'll never be able to do enough. This helped me remember who I am.

When I was young, I was bullied and was looked down on just because of who I was, a quiet, unathletic child. As an adult, I still struggle with the feelings of rejection and sometimes get resentful even about relatively small things when something I suggest or want to do gets turned down. I know there's a rational explanation for most situations that didn't go my way and that most people probably have a neutral outlook on me but still the insecure, rejected part of me tends to raise its head from time to time. It makes me feel petty but it's just difficult when one's ego gets a hit.

I love how this meditation helps you to acknowledge your emotions but also leaves the final acceptance of them up to you. Oftentimes, anger is caused by expectations that weren’t met and once we have compassion (for ourselves and others) in the circumstance, it becomes easier to accept full power/responsibility over the “anger/hurt”. In other words : “I understand why I allowed myself to become angry and what actions I can take to make myself feel better about the situation. Like releasing expectations…”

When you crack your neck, the facet joints stretch, which lets fluid spread out in the joint capsule. Once the fluid becomes gas, your neck joints pop. This is what makes neck cracking feel like it's releasing pressure from your neck area.👍

Thanks! It helped , trying to stop blowing up when I feel people are picking on me. I am 42 and been doing it a long time , I know where it came from , certain triggers but the only thing lately that seems to help is acceptance. Accepting that reality is what it is and people are who they are. Uketamo is a phrase that I am really trying to apply to my life. You can't control people and what they do but you can control your reaction. It's the one thing that I hate ( there are many) the most about myself. Once again thanks for the help I will try to be more compassionate to myself and others.

This video came at the perfect time for me and really helped. My 'situation that isn't going the way things should' is someone in my life who instead of being there for me has always instead been aggressive, dismissive and judgmental and this week has been particularly challenging. I've found that I don't quite have the mindset to forgive as I'm still so close to everything that's happened but I can accept that it is what it is. That to me is powerful and freeing I found through this that I don't have to excuse that behaviour for myself to let go of that anger. It helped me accept that this person holds a lot of anger and passive aggression inside of herself and although I'm usually the outlet of that, it isn't my duty or job to be that outlet for her and it isn't my fault that things have always been this way. I have so many other people in my life both past and present that care for me and have my best interests at heart and dwelling on the behaviour of that one person is stopping me from connecting to them and myself

I realized i had started an argument with a friend and was so angry, but didn't want to keep texting out of anger, so i came here and calmed down. It was actually the big amount of stress from exams taking control over me, but now i feel better. Thank u so much.

I broke down in the middle of this because you hit the nail on the head. I was extremely angry that something minor didn’t meet my expectations no matter how much I tried. I wasn’t having the best day anyway so that was the cherry on top for me. I do feel better letting those feelings (and tears) out.

Anger really is just sadness with nowhere to go. Like grief. I started crying so badly almost instantly after listening to this. It happens every time. I see it does for many others in the comments also.

This was really helpful for me. I realize now that my outbursts of anger were immature and harmful, and that I need to address my anger issues in a more mature way. I am going to be letting go of the past and not allowing it to justify hurting others. Your meditation has helped me to calm down and prevent self-harm, which I didn't realize was a problem for me until now. The emotions that experienced during this meditation made me cry in a way that felt like a release of anger. I was so consumed by anger that I wanted to harm someone or myself, but deep down I know that is not who I truly am. After watching this video, I have decided to start meditating 🌝 .
