Incredible journeyman who happens to be one of the finest vocalist´s in musical history plus the fact Terry was a great songwriter and musician.

The man has an incredible voice, but his songs follow no convention. They are a wilderness.

This performance has such a profound, meditative quality; his rustic voice stripped of youth, a single guitar swaying rhythmically, always near total defeat, like a distant memory itself, forever fading. It's one thing to sing of memories, another to become one. This transcends the original version.

Makes me dreaming about Texas... being free, just me, my pals, my girl, a guitar and a shotgun. Drifting along deserted roads... Stop by roadhouses, meeting people, being a simple man. This dream, if realized, will completly change my life and a think about it every time, everyday. Then, when i grow old, they'll play that song at my funeral and remember me as a happy person who have no regrets in his life. Unfortunately for now i'm just a french teen... not old in off to realize his dreams...

I was at this gig and it was excellent. Thanked Terry (at the bar) at the end of the concert for his performance. If the UK government has Knighthoods to give away then Sir Terry Reid it has to be!

@belmonde1122 I saw Terry last night, in his home town (St Ives, Cambridgeshire, England, for our international readers ;-) and he was sensational as always. A lot of his old friends in the audience, as well as his mum! He ended with Seeds of Memory......and I met him afterwards. A true musical genius.
