Looks great! How did you ensure you had a puck in the middle of the peak?

I have a similar covered patio set up and was trying to decide between going back and following the house line or going out to the roof line.

Totally understand your point. We have installed some where they have no wall to shine the cone effect so we routed inside. kzbin.infoQziM544At4w?si=sownu4IpZlO4pIA3 That is definitely an option if you have no wall or overhang

If I do a Y split, do I need to add a module on each tread?

Do you cut extra lights if not needed?? How do you waterproof the end?
@jbsdiytv10 ай бұрын
Yes, you can splice unwanted lights. You just need to have them read a full strand in the app. Example would 9 1/2 strands would still be 10segments. Water proof them like this kzbin.infoaMxgmO_StUI?si=abD6yWZWKY54hd-b

Thank you for the reply. I am going to attempt to run about 275 feet. I have the black pros. 200 ft and 100 ft.

@@Aflores25371 yes not a problem. Once you have your install done, you can group both devices under Home, then at the bottom group hit the plus symbol, then same-model group next

@jbsdiytv you are awesome, thank you. One last question. Do you recommend starting in any particular spot? If I am facing my house, my garage is on the right side. I thought about starting around the side of the house, running my power into the garage, and hanging from right to left. I am going all around the house. Or do you recommend I have a plug installed on the right side of the house and running lights from left to right. Or does it not matter for the sequence of the lights?
