The recline indicator is only for rear facing in this model seat BUT you are correct that you want to ensure the bottom of the seat remains flat against the vehicle seat 😊

Hey Dion! I think also would be helpful and maybe you have this in another video is how to change the tether anchor belts from rear to forward facing cause that caught me up. It’s standard for the car seat when sold to be in rear facing mode and not in forward facing mode.

I have taken many rides in Saturn Ions... so I’m the perfect person to anwser this question lol... Yes it will fit, it won’t be much room to pass by the car seat on the side that you install it on... and if they are forward facing, then you can rest assured that they will be kicking the chair in front of them ... but since you watched my video... at least you’ll know their seat will be installed properly 😂 Thanks for the question... and thanks for watching!

I am a little confused. Manual does not mention the ball should fully be in blue for forward facing. Only says for rear facing. Please help!

At the bottom there should be 5-6 seating positions, 3 for rear facing and 2-3 for forward facing. Depending on the vehicle that ball placement will be different but you certainly want the ball in the middle because it ensure the seatbelt and car seat respond as designed in an accident. Too far forward or too far back increases the chances of injury.

The ball indicator is only used for rear facing position. That dude didn’t have any idea what he is talking about.
