I have been watching a lot of your videos Suzie and watched one of the older videos where the cameraman said something back and you gasped and said "he's not supposed to talk..." fast forward to now and i just think the chemistry you have with your cameraman, a bit of convo and laughter is only enriching the quality. Much more natural and friendly. I have a lot of smiles and giggles when i watch your videos. since july last year (2017) i have been practicing doing my own nails and i gradually moved on from nail polishes, to gel polishes, to hard gels and now i have bought my first acrylic set. You are a natural, gifted teacher with a delightful personality and i now recommend your videos to my colleagues who are intrigued by my nails. They are nowhere professional but I'd never thought i would be influenced by a youtube nail art videos, ever, so this means a great deal to me. I always LOVE when Grant gets a fill! Grant's nails always remind me of my grandfather's. He wore his nails perfectly groomed, filed to an oval shape, about a quarter-inch past his fingertip. My grandfather wanted to meet my grandmother, who owned a beauty shop, and so he went into the no man's land of the beauty shop and got a manicure. They married a year later, one month after Pearl Harbor in January of 1942, and stayed married for the rest of their lives. I was lucky enough to get the same nail genes as my grandfather. They are strong, hard, thick nails with nail beds shaped like really well constructed acrylics. They have a high C-curve and apex, the only problem being that they tend to be brittle. If I have a protective layer of acrylic over them, I could easily grow my nails to four inches long, but after about an inch of free edge, they start to twist (because the C-curve isn't perfectly symmetrical) and it's not a pretty look.
