Why are there so many people pretending to be mortified that (le gasp!) people hunt animals for food, like alligators? This is a DIY video from a professional on how to clean an alligator. There are oodles of videos on cleaning deer and other animals. It's not savage, nor brutal. Hunting is an ancient activity, and not too many places stock alligator or deer. If you want to weep over the poor defenseless apex predator that these humans hunted, maybe go read up on how managed hunting works. Well-managed and regulated hunting is good for the ecosystem and provides a source of tourism for many States. Learning a practical skill like butchering an animal is beneficial for humans in an increasingly over-specialized, over-technical world. Steak comes from cows, and not in a way filled with rainbows and daisies. If you couldn't make dinner without a supermarket, you might want to reconsider your criticism of outdoorsmen. And stop trying to use "redneck" like an insult. This guy has a Southern accent, which doesn't make him stupid or lowbrow. You were frigging warned it's graphic, so that's on you for watching this "brutal" video. If he had a Boston accent or wore a gingham shirt while he did this, you'd have to come up with a different insult. buzuxi I thought his trick of filling it with air was smart. Much easier to cut a taut surface than a loose one. My brother-in-law is an avid hunter and I'm going to go with him in the next two weeks to hunt deer. But if I had the money, I'd pay deermeatfordinner for a hunt (I presume that's part of his business). The guy just seems like a neighbor.
