@Abhiram you can’t expect others to make you happy dear,it has to come from within..I saw ur other comment as well where u mentioned about deleting contacts..you are actually giving them power to make you sad/happy?! During my teenage I had similar thoughts & then I thought...(This might sound cynical) “no expectations...no disappointments” Now especially, post pandemic, most people r fighting their own battles that their frnds/family know nothing about! The only person who can help you is you, some things that helped me was... Limiting use of social media, writing a diary, using KZbin algorithm to your advantage, like if you watch one motivating vid it recommends you 10 others make sure your feed is full of positivity & things that you find interesting/make you happy.

@Abhiram I understand what you are going through. And I know how difficult it is. I can say everything you said is exactly how I fell and going through for years now. And it doesn't seem to get better. but I have focused my mind on a goal and it's distracting me enough. Gardening has helped me a lot, seeing the seeds turn into beautiful plants is the most I can feel connected to living being. Also I have niece and nephew now, trust me children are the best distractions, from the worst of the worst situations.
@dss68383 жыл бұрын
@Abhiram also, we don't realise this, but you matter to someone. You do. We don't see that, that's the limitation of our heart, but not reality. You will find happiness inside your heart. And that will make you stronger.👍 Just never give up. Because each day is a hope.

Because many can't escape their own demons inside them. Having depression is not easy and it's not easy to accept life as it is when it's never fair to you even when you try so hard to make something out of it. Because if you accept life as it is, to some it's what makes them depressed. So yeah, there you go.

Ultimately, it all worked out and I have been leading a normal life without medication or any therapy for almost a year now. I have also become a much more confident and happy soul since then.😎 Trust yourself folks,all will be well and please ask for help if needed because there a lot people who stigmatize the issue but many people are understanding and helpful also.. By personal experience, what majorly made improvement in me it was writing my thoughts out and understand them. I know it is hard you keep repeating those and those thoughts in your head but after that you start to listen to the pattern of your thought process. Talking to someone won't help you, they started to give their own experience and blah blah reasoning but it won't. Depression can be cured if you are willing to do it by yourself. Keep your mind no matter what listen to some good people, go for a run. Sweat yourself alot no matter if you don't want to get up. Just go outside of your room inhale 4 am morning breeze and if you can't handle people find your silent place away from your room it could be your roof too. Changing your surroundings helps alot. And write diary too. Everyday ask yourself WHAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVE TODAY. I know this process is excruciatingly painful and slow paced but even if your are taking first step to change that is applaudable. ❤️

You can choose to be happy while in pain, but you cannot treat it by simply telling someone to be happy. Please don't be ignorant ! You don't know what mental illness is. Please never lecture this in front of someone who is suffering from it. For e.g Sadness is a mood and depression is a mental illness. BIG DIFFERENCE !!.

Much needed topic. The last point hits right in the nail. "We need to De-stigmatize" mental health issues. That is the right way. Struggle to find the right therapist is also very daunting. I had the worst experience with 3 different therapists and now I am kinda hesitant to start out again. I'm convinced that there are significant percentage of people are in same category as me. Many therapists are there to milk money from you, some are there to judge you and old-age-splain you all the time. Some are not wired to understand your struggles. It's very much easy to put-off the silent struggles and distract yourself than taking concrete actions and face the demon. One welcome change that I would really like very much in India is, In the first appointment, patients must get to interview therapists. To have assurance that, the therapist can understand and speak in a way comfortable to start the mental health journey. This will assure the client to continue the journey and the Doctor will be conditioned do give their best all the time.

Trauma not just coz anxiety and depression it breaks one from inside, you feel like everything is dead inside you, they say talk and seek help,trust me no one can help you because most people don’t understand what you are feeling, they are there to judge and hurt you and question your choices and decisions , so just wake up urself stop being bothered about others,take care of yourself, live for self before living for others, do things which makes you happy and if you find a listener who is willing to listen without heavy fees or exploiting emotionally, physically or financially you may talk to such person. If not books and music. Please breathe and remember everything in the universe is going as per its own will so just strengthen your will power n rise. Lots of love, prayers and well wishes to you all who is fighting this silent battle everyday.
