懐かしい！今から15年前によくデカ盛り丼たべてたなあ。今出川キャンパスから室町キャンパスに向かう間でいつも学生さんで溢れとった。人より多く食べれる自信あったけど、松乃家は凄くて、めちゃくちゃ美味かった。欲求満たしてくれてありがとうございました。 近くにトレドという喫茶店の鉄板焼そばもデカ盛りで毎週行ってたな。良き。

Normally, the cutlet is simmered in the sauce and the egg is placed on top, before topped on rice. Makes me wonder if the cutlet will stay a bit crispier longer this way. I actually like this method better. I’ll try it this way the next time I make katsudon, with the egg broth on the bottom and cutlet on top. Yum.

I mean try the part where I don’t simmer the cutlet in the sauce. Just put the cutlet on the rice and pour. Or, even better pour the egg and sauce on top of the rice, then top with cutlet.

@@imaginasian75 ahh okay, misunderstand a little. i wll try pour egg and sauce first also, and then cutlet on top. rice bottom + egg/sauce middle + cutlet top will probably still be just as tasty. Can even save a small spoonful of sauce in pan to drizzle on the cutlet.
