Let’s hope. I family friend got an allocation here in the states and he gave a few of us the opportunity to drive it for a full day. The sound of the induction noise can’t accurately be put into words. Literally chill inducing. These feel like they are hooked to the tarmac by rails and the way it pulls through a turn is mind boggling. If I had an extra 100k to spend on a vehicle, I’d be doing things that I wouldn’t even do for a Klondike bar for an allocation . Sketchy things 😂🤣🤣

Tim, I don't know if it's from the microphones or not, but compared to other onboard videos I've watched it seems like the exhaust takes away a little from the intake sound at higher rpm , specially around 8-9k , would you agree?! I'm thinking if I can get my hands on one i'm keeping the factory sports exhaust which i believe is from akrapovic anyway...

I agree. I'm a huge fan of loud exhausts, however, the first time I heard the in cabin intake noise from this car I was blown away and immediately thought that a loud exhaust should not go on this car. The intake noise at 8k is so unique and special, the exhaust should not take away from that.

Exhaust stays the same on the weissach all you get is a titanium tip. The exhaust stays the same heavy stainless steel oem system they all have

Great video! Thanks Tim! I know you want to praise the JCR, but as the noise comes from the Airbox, the original titanium Weissach pack exhaust with 935-style tips, is defo the option to have - not an aftermarket exhaust. However, everybody are free to choose the options they like 😊👍🏁.

All you get on the weissach pach is a titanium tip. The actual exhaust is the stainless steel and very heavy system they all come with

Thx Tim. So much fresher and interesting than yet another winged 911. Never looked at Caymans, then saw a pic last year and put in an order for one immediately. Asked for a PTS allocation and somehow they rang me back and asked: “What color do you want?”. Was due delivered 2 days ago, but still pending in n production. So excited, and even more now as you’re bold statement of best Porsche ever🏆 Still waiting for an outside drive by on full chat with the JCR exhaust. Btw 992GT3 has 510PS, not 520. That was the 991.3 GT3RS, and Sternrubin was the name of the 964RS color, not Ruby Stern, which is an all time great! Unfortunate my wife which has more balls than me said no to the Ruby Star Red😂
