Tips- Go in September - absolutely the best time to go. Travel through mainland Greece, islands are great and there are many of them to see. but the mainland is underrated. Thessaloniki in the north, is super lively and underrated. It is very hard to find info on many places in Greece until you are there. Check out Nafpaktos, small seaside town on the opposite side of gulf of Patra in the mainland. You can see a ton of stuff in three weeks altogether. Rent a car, you can travel around quite easily just make sure to expect driving in the bigger cities to be awful for finding parking. Food is very consistent even at touristy places vs more traditional places. Eat plenty of lamb cause that shit is expensive back home. Take a Sea Jets ferry unless you are going a short distance when traveling between islands it is significantly faster for not that many euros more. Im sure there is more I am forgetting but these are the ones that stand out.
