Greet The Day Yoga! Set yourself up for greatness so you can be the awesome and amazing being that you are. This practice starts off slow and steady - focusing the mind as you gently warm up the body.
Stretch, strengthen, and balance the energetic systems of the body to relieve stress, tension, and anxiety. This yoga asks you to start where you are today - and check in with yourself - all parts! This full yoga practice uses the breath to cultivate a mindful awakening through the spine that will leave you with energy and feeling connected.

Quick share to spread some love and hopefully a smile - I usually spend my yoga time with Adriene after I put my 8 month old to bed and before my husband puts my 4 yo to bed and he will come over pause the video and give me a big hug and kiss goodnight before restarting the practise and tonight it happened to be during warrior II pose and he said “you look like a superhero like that mommy!” It made me feel so great and definitely gave more meaning to every bit of tremble and burn I feel during these practices. I’ve been doing yoga with this community now every day for the last 2-3 months and it has made my mind and body feel immensely stronger, better and more flexible and now I kind of feel like a superhero getting through these sessions with a better ability and strength. So thanks and I hope all you superheroes are keeping safe and healthy during covid. Namaste!

Same here I'm doing this session while we are in Lockdown 3 in the UK, Yoga has really got me through this pandemic...nice you have an 8 month old, and very sweet your husband comes to give you a kiss...or is it your 4 year old :-) I think the 4 year old....:-) so sweet..namaste x

Anybody from MOVE? What an awesome practice today. I want to thank Adriene for everything. My body has become so much stronger. Did a dumb thing yesterday reading and texting while walking down the steps of the underneath, twisted my ankle. Thanks to yoga last two and half months my feet became strong and the twist is mild. I thought I was going to fly all the way down, but the body did what it needed. I got an ankle support sock. This whole practice was fine and apart from not hanging in plank on the tops of feet I did everything. I am so grateful, Adriene. Who else has noticed miracles in your own experience? Love to all❤️

At the time of doing this practice, for the GREET - May 2024 yoga calendar, it is the Wiccan sabbath of Beltane. I wish all my fellow Wiccans a happy, and peaceful Beltane. It’s true, I didn’t want to do anything today but rolled out my mat anyway, albeit reluctantly. I am grateful to Adriene and this practice! I feel so good now! I am happy to myself for knowing that I would indeed feel better if I do yoga today! Thank you!

Chuseok holiday here. Heading out of town to see a friend who returned. Quite excited as I have not met with a friend since CHRISTMAS 2022 has really been a year of simply being. Overall my entire body is feeling pretty good. Back issues are asleep and neck is feeling pretty good. Yoga a day can keep the Doctor away. Not a fast pace like the short versions, but a steady and slow pace. Gracias!

Ok this is gonna sound silly but I went somewhere where I sat straight with no back to lean on for about 40 min. My core muscles were never strong enough to allow for comfortable straight posture till now. Been somewhat consistent with yoga since January. Thank you!

This was challenging! Adriene is on fire the whole way through (wu-tang, creaky old floor, no-kill zone...), I'm grateful for her attitude helping us through.

UNION ♾ | November 29, 2023 | Lovely to come back to this slow and deliberate practice. I didn't do this in the morning, but rather in the afternoon which means I started the practice with a busy mind processing the activities of the day thus far. But it didn't take long before the connection of breath and movement brought me into the present moment, and now I'm awake again. 🙏

day 8 meditate - to be honest I REALLY didn't want to show up on the mat today. I felt super sluggish and stuck but this really helped, feeling energized and motivated yet calm now

MEDITATE 🧘‍♀ | November 5, 2022 | As I continue my work trip and didn't return to my hotel room until quite late at night, I decided to swap day 5 and 6 so I could start a good night's sleep with a yummy stillness meditation. But I will come back to this one tomorrow when I have more time and can do it in the morning for a great start to my day! 🙏

I have been doing yoga off and on for many years through videos. I just moved last weekend and with this move have made it my intention to honor my heart, mind, body and spirit with practicing yoga daily. Day three and for the first time I understood how to "lift away from the mat"! :) It just gave me such a joy that I had to share how wonderful it felt not to strain my wrists, since my wrists are very frail anyways... Whereever you are I was challenged to tell another person "I accept you as you are". As I accept myself as I am. Adrienne, l apprechiate how you encourage us always to find the place where our body is, and meet it there, not just showing off an impressive figure. Blessings!

Starting this Saturday with a reclined cobblers pose. It is cloudy outside and there's a good chance of rain. I have to chosen to do what makes me happy today. Whatever that may be. A full body workout for me today with this practice but so good for this senior yogi to start slow. Lovely to work my way through, especially liking my favourite forearm lizard in the middle there with that yummy extra stretch. Ending with that slow cool down so appreciated. I made it ! It's funny because you call this "greet the day yoga" practice. I did this practice at 11 p.m., before bed, and it was a lovely end to my day. My 2 children, ages 10 and 8, did the practice with me and it caused them to wind down and eventually fall asleep, once we ended it off with some shavasana and meditation. Thank you for sharing. Lovely again, as always.

I started my practice 3 years ago and you've been so influential towards getting my 200 RYT. heyoooooo! Adriene, GIRL. I love your videos. you make me feel in a safe space at home with your go with the flow attitude and little jokes yet empowered to practice everyday! I did the YWA August vids, currently doing September. Just finished today, Sept 6th. I love these monthly playlists, helps me flow consistently and get this ENERGY UP :DD. Wowzers! Each practice is better than the next. I love the slow movements in this rotation’s practices. Can you please keep the slow and yumminess up for March! I am not a fan of fast moving yoga. Thanks.

Exactly what I needed on this rainy day in Melbourne Australia. Nice and gentle and calming yoga really helped wake up the body and makes my heart feel happy, even in isolation. Thank you
