Sorry about the break downs Sage, had the brakes gotten taken care of like you had planned, maybe it could have been avoided. Hey but at least you have Tyler, and he is such a chip off his dad's block! What a GREAT mechanic.

That does suck getting towed!! Hopefully the new foot valve does the trick and the old girl rolls again very soon. Be home with its other sister soon!

We had a Wanderlodge wheel towed. Wrecker had it up too high. Ripped out the engine and trans crossmembers. Ripped off the oil pan and destroyed the crank.

Yep, too bad the brakes didn't get done at Chris's shop but they were so busy lately. Your lucky Tyler was with you till the tow. Expensive but at least it's getting fixed. I assume the next video will be you driving it home. I know you need a friend to follow you so hopefully that worked out?

Sorry about your tow, sounds like the treadle valve or the relay valve stuck to me. Hard to replace/rebuild OTR. Everything's better with ether...deep breath...breathe...deep breath....breathe!
@wallyfirkins16643 жыл бұрын
Sage, how do you "accidentally" spray ether on your face mask? Do you carry a can of ether around to improve your awareness? Funny man. You are a determined man.

We used starting fluid earlier in the morning, it got all over a mask I had in my pocket and when we got to Lowe's it was the only mask I had. It's all good, I mean goooood.

Clogging could be caused by the rough roads that were supposed to be smooth.

62 years ago ether was sprayed on my face mask, to knock me out before my tonsils were removed. I was 5 years old.

Well at least you didn't kick a duck, so that's good. Ether helps also. Although the pipe fittings never did anything for me. Duck kicking on the other hand ....

Now I know why its called Holland eh? It's a kitschy tourist thing probably killed by Osha regs and economic downturn years ago. Real Dutch would have turned it into profitable Cafe's and tastefully red lit display windows :-)
