The funniest bit was both the original BT (the most "atheist" regarding the Emperor's divinity) and the new whiny Empy worshipping BT would have both rejected Primaris Marines immediately. Given Dorn and Girlyman's issues the "come to jebus" moment when Helbrecht met Girlyman wouldn't happen. Besides, before the 180 degree retcon of 6th edition the Black Templar wouldn't have needed new Marines since they were obviously building a pocket Legion with a *minimum* of more than 6000 Black Templars accounted for by various other Imperial groups like the Inquisition and High Lords. The Imperium already fell because GW botched the lore. The extreme retcon of the BT was specifically to counter the fact that according to the Emperor's own decree at Nikea that the pre-6th BT were the only true loyalist Astartes. Well, any other chapter that didn't dabble with witches in their ranks would also fall into that category...
