Wow is that a black stone grill? Looks good. I like pink salt Himalayan. Wonderful garden to make that scrumptious salad. Herbed butter is nice. Watermelon cocktail looks good .Show a video how you make a herbed butter sometime maybe. Thank you for sharing. Fun to cook out.

We make the same meal a few times each summer. One of my favorites. Only thing is we use white or yellow onion in the salad so it’s not too potent

It's funny; I'm 3rd Generation American (technically 2nd, but because my grandparents were little kids when they came to USA, and they kinda forgot how to speak their Basilicata dialect of Italian before I was born, I consider myself 3rd gen)... Anyway, it's funny because I still use the same cadences and modes of expression ("the basil, if you cut too much, she's gonna lose all of the juice and flavor") and his way of speaking is like music to my ears. I'm really missing my grandfather lately. He only grew citrus trees and ornamental lawns/shrubs/bushes, but he made his own limoncello/arranciello, and we always had beautiful Mandarin oranges at Christmas time... He never grew one single tomato plant, but he loved and cared for his garden (orchard?) with the same passion and know-how as Nonno Pasquale does. Cent'anni! ❤

"It's a really good day to make a steak." - Well it's at least better than last week when it was 96˚F !!! Mama mia!!! The high today was only 88˚F but it seemed to last for hours. I'll let you handle the grill Pasquale; I'm going to cook up some sausage and peppers in the air fryer! Grazie e Cin Cin !

I planted some "oh yeah, baby!" peppers in my garden this year; I accidentally left the garden gate open a few days after transplanting the little bushes into the ground, and the stupid ugly deer (a plague where i live) walked in and acted like it was their own personal salad bar; they ate my babies, right down to the roots!... So, I gave them some love and care, and OH YEAH, BABY, they came back to life, and now I can make a good giardinera in October!
