My Grandmother used to make Swiss steak in mushroom sauce. She would start the steaks in the same way. Butter-soft tender when finished.

❤After watching you I use flowers more taste. Agree med rare or rare steak is actually more tasty and tender. I did add my red wine to the meal in cooking. Don’t forget to sing whistle hum I miss that. My grandma would call those dishes a monkey dish too. Back in the day parades use to have man playing a accordion and having a monkey sit on his shoulder and the monkey would hold a tiny dish for ppls donations and change hence, a monkey dish

You should pick your oregano before it flowers. After it flowers the oregano becomes more bitter.
