Hey, 2 things 1) the vfd should have a programmable ramp start, that when you give if power it slowly increases the speed of the motor. And 2) if he has to spin that motor by hand it’s phase locking one of the phases on the motor lead isn’t connected.

very inspiring ! I imagined while watching: Dividing the car back to hourse and carridge in the sense of: - back tire + engine - the hourse - want to fight the ground surface to get any amount of drag used. - front cart - want to reduce the bounce, have a smooth ride, lightly ground touch only to redirect the car. And both can have stearing :) It's like when rock crolling, you send the cart on the the track with minimum sharpness to up-down movement, but the heavy lifter or pusher wants to be a track rather than a wheel for rock climbing, it's track is based on friction rather than elevation issues.

Ultimately, he's just not an off-road guy and Grind Hard is all about off-road builds (mostly).

I'm new... And a girl... But it looks like a bike rear-ended a smart car and never came back apart. Js. High-five. My husband is currently raving about something mechanical or another right tf now and I've no idea what he's saying but he sounds like you guys in some sort of shop-dog way. I'm sittin' here doing art while I listen to you and he watches, enjoying a Voodoo Ranger and I guess what I wanna say is thank ya and if ya ever wanna soup us up in a creative-freedom away, we got our home "MamaShasta" here eager for some love. Much love, EyeAhm & ThangQ. 💜

Great job!! The late great David Saville Peck started putting the Hayabusa engines in the Lotus Caterham Super 7 cars back in the early 2000s. Fast AF!! The 0-60 was around 3 seconds (3.2)..It was known as the fastest road car available in Canada back then. I believe his son now runs his shop, Super 7 Cars Inc.

This episode was so much more enjoyable with Patrick as a team member in the shop. Will was funny and entertaining for his first couple episodes, but his type of content is only enjoyable in limited quantities.
