Muscle & Strength, something I've always wondered about (and hearing Branch talk about his food costing $4K a month when competing), do the supplement companies help with food costs or is the combination from endorsements/training clients/prize money, etc. enough to pay for the food costs?

@@kobzster06 It's definitely a combination. Being a bodybuilder is being your own brand. You have to find ways to monetize yourself. Some guys are more successful at doing this than others. When it comes to food costs... for athletes like bodybuilders, powerlifters, and strongmen at this level... a lot of times they write it off on their taxes as a business expense.

I didn't like too much Branch as physique goes, but I have to admit that seeing this made me realize that I like him as a person, and that's even more important. Maybe it's really just because he had a kid and that made him a different person, who knows, I just think it's cute how he's focused on her rather than just himself. I wish him a happy life.

Branch's face looks so much younger and healthier now that hes retired and likely just on HRT now if anything at all. And the best part is he still looks HUGE lol. So happy for him transitioning out of the sport at the perfect time to raise a family and stay healthy after an awesome career :)

Another thing is water. I have a 2 gallon refrigerator jug with a spigot, into which I pour filtered water. I fill bottles for work and drink glasses of cold clean water all day. Much cheaper than the bottled stuff!

It is true, the second you become a family man then bodybuilding turns from obsession to a lifestyle and you become so much more humble and happy, and you can put the principles and discipline of bodybuilding to your every day family life.
