Over the years, I've watched you guys, and you always made me want a minibike. So finally, I built one out of an old bike frame. The thing was sweet but lasted less than a week (the tire blew out and the welds started to fail). But now that I'm in welding class right now, I decided to give it another try. I'm watching and thinking that you might want to think about a custom handle bar steering rather then the steering wheel. Back in the 60's, my grandfather built me and my brother a custom conversion lawnmower/Minnie bike with all mower wheels, tires, custom drive train parts, custom hand made seat, and a steel angle iron frame, he went with handlebars with grips. it was so amazing. We tore up the farm fields with it. Nice job on your speed racer! Awesome job guys!

Improve and lessen the shifter throw by increasing the angles of the pivot points. And using springs as helpers and keepers. Try experimenting with that🤙🤙

One of the local shops built a mini rail dragster with a 750 CC Honda engine and car rear tires ! It was something to see ! About 25' long but not as much fun to bomb around in (as your mower) because it took way to much space to turn it around ... :)

I told ya! I did this when i ws 13yrs old 1980, to an old IH cub cadet.used a 2 cylinder 600cc yamaha junkyard motor It had 5 lug rear differential , i put 15 inch rims with studded snow tires from junkyard I lived next door to...built lots of stuff we had like 50 acres behind us.

I love these parallel twin engines, I've got a 79 Honda cm400 with a parallel twin on it I just replaced lower jug gasket,head gasket and valve cover relapsed the valves and adjusted them

It must have been used for target practice there's several bullet holes in it. My brother in law have it torn apart. My kid really loves watching you guys and we enjoy tinkering together on projects of our own. Our dream is a racing mower similar to cars and cameras with 1 maybe 2 vintage McCulloch kart engines powering the mower. Thats a custom build we dream about. On a different note we were very upset hearing about good people getting their hard work taken. You know there are alot of ex military guys looking for work who specialize in finding bad guys. I bet if you offered to help build a custom racing mower or something along those lines as a reward, some of these ex military guys would gladly give a look around for those beautiful bikes for you. And probably handle a small swift punishment of the bad guys for free so they wont ever do it again.this is family friendly so violence shouldn't be condoned. Thats why the punishment part should be free. 😊

I remember when they used to be cheap because people used to 4 strokes would get them not realizing how different a 2 stroke is, take it out once or twice and scare the shit out of themselves and then quickly try to sell it or trade for something more manageable. My uncle's friend in the seventies built the go-kart from scratch and was unhappy with how slow it was so he took a huge Yamaha street bike motor and put it in according to my uncle it flew. My uncle spent the afternoon with them and when he left they got on the 118 freeway to go home he came up around them on the freeway waved at them and then flew off the next on ramp as quick as a blink according to my uncle😃✌

Now thats a real bike ibe had pleasure to own many of the 500 bikes and multiple manufacturers please were all body protection and helmet at all times not to scare you but its nothing for it to leave with out u at any gear or speed just respect it and if tune well u can just lug it around its a monster mid range power little advice get a new upgrade water pump there problems a must when sitting for any time or updating rads also its a rare these days so love to see u restore it some day i miss mine so much also love the mower build need h pipe dual and maybe update to a better carbs ive own few those also great for that build and may just a small hoop behide like cobra style just for little safety it could be cool need to build few more with different twin motors or some big single to keep compact maybe add couple inches of suspension just to absorb little bumps since thats so low keep up great work and everyone have wonderful day.
