That's what I find so cool about Reese Weiland.. He makes knives that are so out of the box, that you know he's having fun every minute of it.
@MFD00MTR3311 жыл бұрын
I can see why its called a wolverine. This has to be the craziest, well engineered knife I've seen. Cant even describe it in words, its too cool for that. Thank you Jim for showing us this awesome knife and to its owner as well. My mind is blow right now.
@craigmoss215811 жыл бұрын
Unbelievable...that knife is gorgeous in every way. Art knife, no practical use or not, you have to enjoy it for what it is and why he made it...because he could. Incredibly awesome and if I had the disposable income to buy one, it would most certainly be in my collection just for the aww factor. Great vid Jim. Keep 'em coming.

It's an absolutely gorgeous piece of blade art to be sure and yes looking at it as one knife makes it easier to appreciate. Honestly though I can think of many other knives in the 4K range that had I the money, I would buy a long time before I'd look at this one.

One nice piece of machinery there. I would like it better if it wasn't so wide. Just wide enough to fit a finger in between the blades would be more appealing. It is amazing and it takes a master craftsman for sure. Thanks for showing it to us

@JimSkeltonKnives9 жыл бұрын
Reese has never made a $75 knife. The single blade version, the Eagle, in its most basic form with the least expensive materials would still be about $700. Dressed up like this would be closer to $1800.

God it really is very beautiful - but IDK -- like when would you EVER use it? Open a box and cut the box at the same time? Seriously just not even usable. Like to the point where I'm not sure I would even want it in a fight. Still - really just a straight work of art. Wonderful stuff.

Art knives are not something I'm in to, but Weiland's work is amazing. Art knives show the craftsmanship of the maker. My fav art knives have to be from Panchenko. Though I gotta admit, while this knife has impeccable F&F and high end materials, it reminds me of all the Fantasy knives that BudK would offer. LOL
