5:45 it says it on the pack below the ingredients. Basically it says: Pour 180ml (6oz) of boiling water into the pack and let it sit for 5min. Milliliters are abbreviated to мл(ml) in Russia.

This seems extremely ineffective for any reconnaissance forces and kinda fails at being a "dry ration" since you need water to eat it. The Chinese one may not have been extensive but at least you didn't have to stop make a fire to boil water for soup or just stop to reconstitute your food in general.

They are kinda pricey as singles. You can get a case of 12 for about $7 a ration but then you have to buy all of them plus maybe shipping...kind of a catch 22. Just make sure you look at the date codes before you get it since you have no idea the conditions it was stored and I don't want you getting sick. CHEERS!

Why on earth would they do the heat seal under the zip zeal. Rather do it the other way round, that way you can just cut the heat seal off and reseal the bag for later with the zip seal. I'm disappointed russia, why you not make practical bag design?
