Damn i had to look twice there welcome back gundog! Glad to know you are doing ok. Not really any snacks with the Ukraine meals but the mains sure are big. I tried one about 3 years ago and half the mains were different but still good. I might need to get a new one and see how there are but nice to see they are still in retort pouches. Looking forward to more of your videos and thanks for sharing!

I am so happy to hear you again ! This ration is a great step forward comparing to the ole can version. Still not shocking by variety of side dishes, but the mains are really better. And the amount of main dishes is the biggest in the mre world

Hi bud, glad to see that you're back. Hope everything with work and daily life goes well for you. Lunch was a whopper. The chicken soup really looked good. Liked the retort packages instead of the cans. Almost a year, doesn't seem that long but time has a way to slip by you. Supper was really filling. Over all a great ration. Take care my friend 🤝

now that is a breakfast. I agree with on the Russian coffee its so good. Lunch is the big meal there i can understand why its larger. it looks good too. great for an afternoon of work. yeah a nice simple dinner thats to cool. MREs are so cool. thanks for sharing with me.

Great to see you back, Gundog. Honey crystals are great. It's crunchy honey. Kinda like crunchy peanut butter. Eggplant is horrible in large, soggy chunks. But it is great fried up with onions in small bits, and mixed with almost any main or omelet. Cheers from Canada. BTW, it is Canada Day today.

Hey Gundog, I'm not sure why Google told you that the lunch was eggplant...the title is long winded and repeats itself but says "conserved meat and vegetables, porridge with meat, buckwheat porridge with beef, sterilized" and I'd probably put the jam on the crackers (one buddy jokingly referred to them as the Ukrainian tooth fairy) and keep the dried bread for the soup like you did

It was good surprise to see you in the news feed. This pouch rations from the ukrops are really lightyear step forward from the canned mre version. You know... Soup man... They have soups in them.

Man, i ate like 30 of those being lazy SOB and them being cheaper than take out food. I would suggest crumbling dried bread inside it's package and then dropping all that goodness in to the soup, maybe even with wheat rusks that are in dinner packet. Also they don't need a lot of spice, just some black pepper or better tabasko sauce on top and you're golden. Only thing i don't like about them is "coffee" literally has no flavor and mains are bit too greasy for my taste. Also latest versions have larger thinner whole wheat crackers, they kinda bland but don't give a sugar rush like white bread

Sugar does not come from a mine. Salt does but I read the Russians mostly use sea salt now
