However, over the last few months, his friendships and public perception have unravelled due to a scathing video created by his ex girlfriend, Abelina Sabrina. This led to a subsequent controversy where numerous creators (including iNabber and nickisnotgreen) called Gus out for his behaviour. But was the backlash justified? I say hospital fucked up and should be sued into oblivion, although - what Gus and Sabrina stated could easily be verified by trying to reach friends that were mentioned multiple times. If Gus have friends that felt uncomfortable, why won't they come forward and speak up?

When it comes to health issues there is a guilt factor in leaving. Gus had hit his limit but forced himself to stay which is why he kept saying stuff out of anger. Gus should have called it early.

Subject aside-Men really don’t understand how often women are told to go home and dismissed when they seek care (especially in an ER) for things like ovarian cysts, pregnancies, pain etc. The rate of women who die from birth related complications is extremely high in the US compared to other similar countries.

having dealt with a similar situation myself, Gus being shitty to her at points, while not okay, is far from shocking. Being expected to be always calm and rational when dealing with someone constantly breaking down and making your day to day life essentially unlivable (having to leave work at a moments notice, no sleep, etc) wrecks you. And yeah its not like she was doing it on purpose, but that honestly makes it worse because it means you cant ever show signs of being upset with them or you're the bad guy. Gus no doubt said and did shitty things, but I challenge anyone to go through that and never slip up. I exhausted myself for years dealing with my situation and didnt do anything quite as bad as gus, but there were times I definitely wanted to be spiteful or mean just for the catharsis. I wish her well in recovering and Gus too.

I know a woman that has a lot of similar mannerisms to Sabrina. One thing this woman did was be vindictive towards anyone that did not give her way. She was a beautiful, and small woman so why would she do anything wrong? This is the card she would play. She was dating someone I know, and this is what had happened. She was wanting to be able to have open relationships and see other people. Even with the man refusing she decided to start this lifestyle anyways. When the man found out he got upset and asked her to leave his life & home. When this happened she went unhinged because she was not paying for her housing at the time, and didn't want to have to start to. She started being extremely abusive yelling & screaming until the cops were called by a neighbor. When they had arrived she got him arrested. While detained she destroyed all of his belongings in his home, his car, and even hurting his pet. She got into his phone and tried ruining his business relationships by calling everyone she knew he had one with, and making all sorts of allegations. She deleted all of his saved photos of friends, family, and events he would reflect on to be happy. Then posted all over social media that he was a terrible human with all of these accusations to further damage his reputation with anyone she could because he did not have the ability to give his side of the story. The damages to the man's belongings was close to around $18,000, and the damages to his reputation are irreparable. All because he didn't want to have an open relationship, and she didn't like that he wanted her to leave. Most people would not believe his side of the story because, as I said before, she was a beautiful small woman that seemed harmless. However, it would be proven the man did nothing wrong. The damages to his reputation though still remains.

amazing video. this is the only neutral take i’ve seen on this situation as it has all played out. i was an avid podcast watcher before all of this went down, and i must be honest gus never struck me as the man twitter made him out to be, that being said i only know is youtube persona, but something in my gut really told me that there was no good guy or bad guy. i believe they are both equally at fault, and they truly are both victims of a situation that neither knew how to handle. it really seems that people tend to forget that this was a personal relationship with dynamics and details that we can never understand, to paint one party as the bearer of responsibility is so illogical and dishonest. i wish them both the best and i hope to see them both grow beyond something that honestly should have never gone public in the first place.

When I hear Gus, I actually think a lot might be true, considering Sabrina has PTSD, these are all symptoms and behaviors that could match that and someone suffering from PTSD will most of the time not remember, truly it needs to be treated for her life to improve instead of get worse, as this can come back at any time in the future, even after long periods of it being gone. The hospital was negligent and should have helped her out a lot more, especially with all the mental problems that occurred due to this. Trust was broken and I understand why as I've been in a similar situation (Including the constant trips to the ER), it takes time, commitment and a LOT of talking to get through that, but it will be worth it in the end. Nasty situation for all involved and I hope they are one day able to properly discuss it

They're both immature. If she was really just releasing a story about her issues during this time she didn't need to like or confirm any of the people pointing out who her ex was at the time. Doing so essentially turns what is a personally harrowing experience and the loss of a child into drama with your ex. Gus is garbage for what he did here, but she essentially took this whole situation as a chance to bash her ex boyfriend. Because it's the internet no one ever question why this is necessary, why two grown people with issues can't discuss their issues behind closed doors.
