With a line of 21 planes waiting to taxi, and with so many planes instructed to hold short of an intersection, a lot of passengers must be getting impatient. I marvel that any ATC can make order out of this chaos. This guy was handling it professionally.

Maybe you could use KZbin's support for subtitles to add subtitles so that your corrections are also visible on mobile.

Fabian Neundorf It's corrected now. I don't know how it started earlier. :/ Yes, firs I do transcript in text document and then paste it in Vegas. KZbin video editor is pretty much only for basic stuff. It would help if you could add hard-coded text like in this case.

I second that. Is there any ATC workers or retired for an perspective? I imagine an library quiet break room. Their favorite personal choice brought from home music, book, food. Maybe @ an good quality airport. Company provided food court or something.

And this is why they never do more than two hours at any one station in ATC, but normally only around 75 minutes. It’s too intense.

Maraginda Pohan "Generally when used in ATC movement instructions the word "company" means "The other aircraft operated by your company". In this context it's a convenient shorthand for controllers and pilots: If two aircraft from the same operator are going to the same place on the airport (one may be told "Follow company"), or to assist with visual separation and sequencing on approaches. In other cases it can mean "the airline (company) you work for" (such as being instructed to taxi to a ramp and "call company for your gate assignment" - the distinction is made based on the context of the request or instruction)."

Love the accent. It’s like all the fun parts of a Masshole accent but I don’t have to hear anyone say “wickahd” or say this makes them want to go to the “packie”. I also get weirded out sometimes with Delta. If I go anywhere it’s usually from ATL and in my head I think “Dixie” instead. Which, by the way, is probably an outdated choice on your part Delta. Keeping your big hub in the south and you chose Dixie….sigh.

Aircraft within a certain weight class. There is now a "Super" class, meaning even heavier than the heavies.

It's a weight class, there's also SUPER for A380s. Not a pilot, but I believe the Heavy callsign is used so other planes are more aware of wake turbulence.

It means they've got Oprah on the aircraft.

Besides heavy meaning the plane's mass and the wake turbulence it can produce, it is also a reminder to the ATC controller about the extra room it might need to taxi on the ground. Longer fuselage and longer wingspan can cover a expotionatley larger area then the airplane that is not classified as a heavy.
