What Was Cut? | Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Episode 23

The Storm Sniper is in the game, though was cut from Multiplayer. You use the Storm Sniper as a secondary weapon when getting the President to "Prom Night", right before you go pilot that weird F-35 jet. The charge ability would penetrate through walls, the longer you charged the further the shot would penetrate. It's a fun weapon to use though as far as I remember you only get it in that one mission.

Was gonna post this comment. I had a thought when after finishing the story that it would've been cool on MP as a Scorestreak weapon, like the Death Machine: make it an instant-kill that can also shoot through walls but you're limited in ammo, and maybe also make it a mid-tier Score to get. Might've been cool, especially to deal with campers or head glitchers.

The achievement picture is from a British show called The Mighty Boosh. They had a bit where they had a guy with what I assume is whipped cream or icing on his face be the moon and say funny stuff. Very good show and extremely surprising to see it referenced in a Call of Duty game

the PDWs prototype model was based on an AR57 which is pretty much an AR15 that takes P90 magazines, the Neostead 2000 is a really weird South African double barrel break open shotgun that was actually in Battlefield Bad Company 2, the TOZ Saritch was a Russian design concept of a bullpup rifle which was the inspiration for Finka's rifle in Rainbow six siege, The weird S12 model is actually a bullpup chasis for that same weapon that is a very real thing and if you look up Saiga 12 bullpup you can see it, and I absolutely agree that the SVU design sucks lol

The strange firing sound on the an 94 is a feature of the gun. An 94 has a 2 shot burst

Honestly the storm would've been a cool addition to multiplayer. Also I wonder if the NS-2000 at 11:51 is the titus-6 from the campaign possibly? Just a really early version of it. I also feel BO2 would've been even better if it had the mod tool treatment like BO1 and 3 had. Also I'm really enjoying these videos you're making, I'd be interested to see if Advanced Warfare (one of my favorite cods) had any cut content or not!

5:15 the model is used to call in a air strike during the campaign, that's why it's still there. 11:40 this weapon is also a campaign exclusive, charging your shots make them go through walls.

The loadout icon for the Raygun, Jetgun, and Python are for Zombies mode! you can have a favorite weapon depending on what youve used the most! They arent unused

Agreed. They just look similar because BO1 M14’s icon and chalk outline didn’t feature the pistol grip that was on the in-game model. BO2 fixed it.

Is the weapon names in the later builds closer to launch build different than launch build that you use for reference? Cause the "XMR" is the XPR right? And the XM8 is the M8A1 in the final game? And the map is Standoff not Village. Unless you're going off the map code name in the files?

@Nitroh- Yeah, I kept referring to the XMR because that's what it was called in the earlier builds code so I think it just got stuck in my brain. I was meaning the XPR, yes lol. Same with the XM8, it kinda just stuck in my head from internal names. As for the map, yeah I totally wiffed that one. I once again think it was because that's what it was called in the August 2012 build and totally forgot the final maps name. Thanks for the corrections though!
