You forgot a couple of Zombies stuff you left out, so I’ll list them here: - Ascension was originally supposed to be the launch map for Black Ops alongside Five. It was ridiculously ambitious and was pushed back to DLC 1 because the map had to be scaled down massively... Due to it taking a while to make. It had so many areas, new perks, wonder weapons, etc that the memory concerns became too much and a lot of the map's content had to be redistributed - The Cosmic Silverback was originally meant to appear in Ascension, acting similar to the Panzer from Origins, with the Space Monkeys co-exist due to the map scale. He was pushed into Dead Ops Arcade, who's the main antagonist of the sub-series, with Treyarch confirming the Cosmic Silverback escaping from Ascension. - Black Ops 1 had a cut Zombie Special Enemy type called "Engineer" and was originally meant to appear in Call of the Dead (WAW Coast Map) instead of Kino der Toten. He was repurposed into George Romero in COTD and pushed into Dead Ops Arcade. - Call of the Dead was originally supposed to have the Ultimis Crew and the Engineer Zombie, as it was originally an WAW Map, but due to Tom Kane (Takeo) being sick at the time, who couldn't record his lines because of this, this was changed to have George Romeo and the Celebrities take over the roles to be reworked as a celebrity map. It explains Takeo being sick and silent during the COTD EE and the lack of Takeo quotes in the closed bunker. - Shangri La has a ton of cut content to them but I’m gonna mention that the Baby Gun was going to feature a 4 element versions that would be reused in future entries (Origins and DE). - Paris got reworked into Moon because Treyarch wanted to go out with a bang.

All of this is spot-on except for the Shangri-La baby gun. The only evidence I've seen to suggest alternate ammo types is one single photo of concept art, but concept artists are notorious for coming up with ideas that never leave the page. It was most likely just something a single artist came up with to give the developers ideas lol

1:14 Tiger Stripe is a real world camo that was used in Vietnam by MACVSOG. It’s even showcased in game but only on certain character models clothing. It eventually became an actual weapon camo in MW19 but idk why you feel it wouldn’t fit in BO1, it’s exactly the setting it should be in. Funny you’d call it hideous, it’s actually a pretty popular camo for civilian gun nuts, people legit pay hundreds to get custom clothing in the pattern because it’s generally a very liked camo people think is cool.

There's a mod re-adding the mode to it but it was unfortunately unfinished, the WIP is "playable" but not enough to be good i think. Sad to have only WaW and BO3 with it as far i remember.

Actually a lil neat fact about that secret dev cube on COTD has a interesting thing it can do to Romero if you manage to get him on it I saw once to get him onto the cube, it makes Romero turn into a crawler which he works perfectly fine as too though the funny thing is that his legs just stick together when he’s crawling cause his legs don’t dismember like the legs of his the normal zombies. It’s honestly so weird that the cube does that to him and also weird that he can turn into a crawler to which in normal gameplay is never possible

Dev tools are for devs testing things out, and if they didn’t have a working crawler George, and someone decided to mod the game to make him a crawler, the game would crash cuz the game wouldn’t have a working crawler George animations and functions but is forces to make one and it can’t address ro something that doesn’t exist so it wouldn’t know what to do and crash.

The broken versions of the dual wield weapons is actually the gun for the left hand, as the m1911 one in the code is called “m1911_lh” or something along the lines of that. Not sure why it pulls the weapon up like that, it looks like the hands and left weapon get extremely enlarged while the right weapon stays normal sized.

In BO1 The Ascension rocket in Kino can be launched after collecting and playing all the film reels, in BO3 you need to jump in front of the bleeding manniquins in the dressing room 5-10 times

This is just so cool to see. I really enjoy these videos. I get really nostalgic for COD, so seeing cut stuff from WAW and BO1 is awesome. As I said on the WAW video, I would love to see Black Ops 2. If you could do Modern Warfare 2 2009 and Black Ops 3 too at some point that would be cool to see.

12:53 So the bullet property doesn't effect damage or actually anything at all, just the fx that play when you shoot things or people. In all CoD games, rifles make bigger fx than pistols. This goes for debris, bullet holes, and smoke.

I forgot how, but, there was a way how to get 3rd person in a Zombies game. Firing weapons are useless but meleeing works. It was going down on solo and pressing/holding Y (on Xbox) till the end of the black screen thatll restart the map.

11:20 NPC means that it's a 3D sound, all guns have gun_shot_plr and gun_shot_npc prefixes. since when u fire a weapon different/sound alias plays for u compared to others next to u.

Don't know why devs removed MG42 because it would be era appropriate even if its not USSR's gun although it could've been a captured gun, maybe they had some technical issues that's why.

The akimbo broken gun may be the second gun of the akimbo system because afaik it uses two weapon files and the broken version must be the one that's used in the proper version given it can't be used alone without breaking

@mikepalmieri4989 🤣🤣 Thanks man, yeah I just didn't feel like it was that hard. I did snipe in MW2 but I was still early in the whole "quick scope and trickshotting" stuff so I wasn't that good. It really took off in BO1 and been great at it ever since. Still do it in xDefiant too 🤣

Yeah in WMD there's a version of it with Variable Zoom and 2 types of ammo being explosive and non explosive, but as stated in the video its the ACOG sight thats never seen attached to it. Sure it would look awesome if everything was usable on MP 😢

Also, on solo when you run out of quick revive it raises into the air before it disappears, so its the only one you would be able to see the bottom of

Its done already, and it will happen every time the publisher dont let 3arc do their job freely. The franchise has been seriously turned to an Asset Farm just for Mod Tools its been quite a wile.
