I think everyone likes Perez, and we all be pissed if she dies. She was the best thing of this season, and the bound she and chief created is insane, mostly she is the one that gave him some humanity, and is why they are deeply conected. So if she died, possibly we will have a super dark chief, but off course we don't want that.

Their bound is going to make Chief try to save perez. If she survives, i don't know, but he is learning to process his emotions, and i think the feeling of losing her is going to be overwhelming, and he is going to save her.

That lab and thr tablet the girl, thr Dr. and Amanda Keyes snuck out probably contains the Flood. I knew it the second she was seeing a monster on the cave walls. The signage gave me cold chills, we know what they’re playing with 😶‍🌫️

Dude, while the episode was slower, I loved it. Good work. Excited for what comes our way next week. Does anyone else have a feeling (or fleeting hope) that maybe John finds a battered Keyes on a Covenant ship next week?

My third favorite episode of the season behind episode 1 and 4. This season so far has been really really, and this is coming from someone who didn’t like season 1 that much. The story has built up a lot in these last 2 episodes and the last like 5 minutes got me super excited for the season finale. I can’t wait to watch it as soon as it comes out

Hatetuber who use hateful rhetorics get more views. It's masking their talentless true self and to feed off the hate validation many are looking for online. It's harder to make positive videos and give real criticisms that require actual critical thinking.

I love the series man. I can't understand while people complain about something their not being forced to watch. They won't stop. Just watch something else. The shows not perfect but it good. I love your reviews man

I know right, then they have the audacity to say that if you are a Halo fan but watch the tv show you aren’t a true Halo fan😂😂, Im a big Halo fan of the games and Books, but I don’t have a big problem with the show, there could be things they could do better but it isn’t as unwatchable as they think it is

@@bloodylegend3611 The biggest complainers have never played the games or suck really badly at playing them. They miss out on the simplest of story beats, lore and show complete blindness to character development. I've played all the games and have no problem admitting that the game storyline is messy as hell. Alternate timeline was the best option to build the world slowly and methodically. Some of these idiots wanted the show to be exactly like the games, which shows they have no understanding of the realities of television production. The money doesn't exist for a direct port of the games and neither does the audience. The general audience needs a face to identify with the character/characters. The least watched/favorite season of The Mandalorian was the one where he didn't take his helmet off.

Agreed, love the series so much, played the game since halo 1, i would rather have a series than not!!!! These negative nancies need to get outtttt, changing something in areas to fit a show is quite normal, god it’s like brain cells have vanished lol

Great review and reaction. I'm loving this show. Can't understand all the haters wanting the shows story to be rigid to the games story arc. Who wants to watch a show with the events played out exactly as the same as the games?

He might get on the Halo with Chief. In the promo for next episode you can hear Parangoski say to Chief "why have you stopped", which means he probably stops his route to the Halo to intervene with Perez and try to save her. Kai might die protecting her Spartan 3 soldiers (since Chief is the only Spartan 2 supposed to arrive on the Halo, Kai cant come with). Soren is technically not a Spartan since he left during the training part still. My guess is Chief, Perez, Soren (without his wife and kid), Halsey and Cortana. Maybe even Miranda as well, because then at least a Keyes is there, in Jacob's place.

I have a personal theory that season 2 Makee is a clone of Makee who died in season 1. It's reasonable to assume that the Covenant should have this type of tech and much better than what UNSC has. Maybe because this Makee is a clone, she cannot activate the artifact! It's likely something was lost in translation during the cloning process that makes her lose her access to the artifact. Halsey mentioned about John having unique set of DNA sequences and further reinforced this theory this episode with Forerunner Onyx shield world discovery.

Great post and thoughts afterward. I agree that Miranda Keys just released the Flood Spores or Precursor Dust/Flood material in the ONI/UNSC lab after retrieving it off the Forerunner corpse. It's goes with a little bit of the game lore. Precursors create the Forerunners and Pre-Humans...then Mantle of Responsibility. Forerunners get jealous and go to war and eradicate the Precursors. What's left of them becomes corrupted cosmic dust (much like what was in the vile container) over time. Thus, the beginnings of the Flood. So I think the lab shutting down on Halsey, Miranda, and Kwan Ha was because it was going into fail-safe mode trying to prevent contamination or release of the Flood pathogens. Onyx is going to become Flood ground zero. Just hope Paragosky becomes an infected Flood form like Jacob Keys did in the Halo game for the battle of Halo Instalation 04. I could not think of a more deserving outcome for that narcissist/maniacal leader!

nope.. she's about to discover the flood. that was a Forerunner flood testing lab they were in. The Forerunner that was in there was also wearing a bio suit

Ive enjoyed this season alot. The writing and production is much better. People still love to hate though and ive learned Halo fans are as bad as Star Wars fans.

They "know" because Makee told John and the UNSC that the Halo will cleanse the galaxy. That's just Covenant orthodoxy. To the UNSC, that means the Halo is a weapon. What neither side knows is its true purpose.

Lol- I think there were thousands of versions of "son of a 'xyz' exclaimed at the end of this episode 😜 (well, a number of episodes this season tbf). They are being kind of mean about the cliffhanger endings, but I guess it works- Halo & one other show (that does the same annoying cliffhanger endings each episode) are 2 shows I'm super impatient to have to wait a whole week to watch the next instalment of 🕒🕕👻 I've not really played the game (outside of about 20mins of the first Halo game I think- can't remember tbh) or read the books (considering reading the books now tho tbh), so I enjoyed the first season for what it was, sure it wasn't perfect, but it was good, enough so that I was invested enough to watch S2. I admit I am a bit lost on some of lore viewers are assumed to be already aware of, but not enough so that I'm struggling to keep up or having my enjoyment of the show diminished... If the cliffhanger for S2 gets me curious enough, I'll probably end up reading the books before S03 starts.

I mean the cliffhangers at the end of the episodes remind me of every halo game ending on a cliffhanger, especially after 3 when everyone expected another game and odst and reach came out and bungie decided they were done with halo
