There's one thing I can't deny. Everything that I've watched with Hans Niemann in it over the past years has always been entertaining. He brings a drama to chess that is unmatched. Everything needs a good villain and Hans brings that dynamic to chess, but does so in a lovable charismatic way. I'm glad chess has Hans. Ha ha

Since the whole Alirza Hikaru incident happened and neither Gotham nor Chesscom, botez sisters, CSquared (which is a CHESS PODCAST btw) ever said anything about the whole fiasko, i really am more on hans' side.. these guys all were very quick when the magnus hans drama happened and gotham always jumps first on any drama clickwagon he can get but as soon as it is something serious like hikaru literally insulting all of alirezas family and being a literal manchild in front of 30k people, gotham didnt say a single thing about it...

CSquared's reaction was pretty disappointing, especially Christian inventing excuses for Hikaru's bad behavior. Would like to see Finegold's reaction to it but his content lately seems to be all historical stuff.

I always love and appreciate hearing great players tell people who beat them stuff like "great job, you played a uniquely exceptional game" etc. Idk if Hans Niemann will see this but, you have beaten Magnus, everyone knows you are exceptionally skilled, it is just gross to hear this "Choke mfer" garbage, just shake hands and have some humility, nobody cares, and if they care, they are focused on the "content moment" rather than the actual implications of the event - to everyone else, there are no implications to this event. Levy played a great game, Hans slipped up a bit, Hans will continue to be immensely skilled, Levy will continue to have occasional great wins, just like you and I sometimes tilt and sometimes have great games. Sure these guys operate at a whole other level, but these things happen.

The last video, Hans' recap of this game (peek comedy btw) has become the most viewed video on this channel in a little over 24 hours surpassing 'Hans SLAMS Hikaru' (from 5 months ago). Yes, I went and frkn checked... The analytics speak for themselves. It is pretty ironic how content stealers end up getting themselves milked, but the sad thing for the fans is the content gets shitter and shitter and it's hard to even find anything on KZbin anymore with all of them fighting to abuse the algorithms to the top and not actually creating anything original

Recent chess world is interesting bcuz Kramnik accused Hikaru with some insane statements. Hikaru covered it and later proceeded to do the same to Alireza and said "Who tf do you think you are?". Hans covered it and later proceeds to say "Who tf am I playing?" KARMA IS REAL.
