If you're working in Resolve, one of the biggest benefits the newer Intel CPU's have over AMD is the media engine. If you're working in h264/265, the onboard media engine can decode that footage... where not even the 4090 does, and the timeline performance is so much better. W11 has been fine for a long while already. Also the wireless dongles you have occupying your USB 3.0 front ports are USB 2.0 speed. So why take up the 3.0 ports with them? Looks great! Love their design ideas with this case. If I build another pc I will definitely look closely at this case. Power button lock? Where has that been my whole life!! I have leaned over the top of my case and put one of my fingers DIRECTLY onto the power button and turned my pc off on my Phanteks P600S case so many times!! Few possible cons of this case: -Metal rattle? The case gave the impression it might suffer from metal rattle sounds. When you were removing the metal pieces from inside the case you could clearly hear the sound of metal on metal with no sound dampening material. -Dust filter built into the deeply grooved front panel looks to be challenging to keep clean. On my wife's as well as my Phanteks P600S cases I have to remove the front panel, then the dust filter behind it, every week or two and either vacuum it or wash it in the shower. I am not sure that front design on this Asus Pro Art case will be that easy to clean. Love the design and look though. Regardless, what a beautiful build. Great job Dimitri and Asus! p.s. joke: @ 5:22 How dare you (Greta voice) have your left speaker pushed back and headphones leaned against it? NO NO NO!! That audio atrocity should not be allowed to happen!! :) By the way, if you ever have the room and time, consider testing the passive speakers B&W M1's (they come in white or black...9.8in H x 4.5in W x 6.4in D) and pairing them with a spare A/V receiver or a stereo amp & a subwoofer. I have tried many brands of powered and passive speakers on the desk. Hands down my current favorite is the B&W M1B's with a subwoofer. I have fun going back and forth comparing speaker pair output A to my Kef Q100s on the wall and speaker pair output B for the B&W M1B's on my desk. The Kef's are more neutral but the B&W's are just so much more fun to listen to.

I just built a system based on the ProArt X870E, 9950x, ProArt 4070 TI Super, other goodies in a Fractal North XL case. OMG unpacking drivers in window 11 pro, was done before before my mouse released the click! I don't think it's a ProArt thing, any new gen hardware will do it, but I just wasn't expecting so much power with so little heat and noise. I juuuussst about finally pulled the trigger on a Mac instead, but I also like to game and I'd have still needed to build a reasonably good rig. Why pay twice? The case on yours looks very similar, so much that I bet they used fractal to do their case. I just got mine running last night. Tested it on a game I play and was blown away with how much CPU overhead I have and how buttery smooth 60 fps is on it. I have a 60 Hz photo monitor too so I'm stuck with that for a while, but seriously 60 fps without any micro studders feels like 120. I thought my video card was broke because the fans were running! I had to get into a mob fight to push it. I was super concerned about the studio space being to hot to work in... This will not be an issue in the least. I should have done this long ago. I'm pleasantly surprised. I've build an incredible rig once (usually it's a bang for buck build with it still ending up with 3 years of high ranking performance) and this build smashes that one I did ten years ago. I mean relative to it's era, not each other. Of course this machine runs laps around an older one, but I've never been so surprised as I was last night with a new machine. Holy cow. This will be a lot of fun to work on.
