“Danmedown” I think I’ve finally started to figure out why you love your job so much... it allows you to consume as much beer as you want at what ever time of the day, and edit it to make it look like you’ve only had one at 4 in the arvo.... bloody genius Harry

"Danmedowns" I absolutely love that you can give back to your mates, the friendship you have is obvious in that video. Thanks to Dan for sharing his life with us as well, because that can't be easy to do. Please continue to do what you do, and I hope Dan can continue to live the best life he has for as long as he can.

I honestly love friendships where you can just give each other shit for hours on end 🤣 Dan definitely deserved those Danmedowns, gotta love it when you can look after your mates.

Harry all I can say that this is one of the best episodes that you have done. You can see the friendship between you and Dan. That's what mates are for to rip the crap out of each other. It was also great to compare your setups and see that there may be some differances ( major differances ) and price points but, you go with what you can afford. Maybe if the future there can be more Danmedowns.

Harry that was a ripper ep, your mate has a grin from ear to ear when you guys were chatting, these are the moments we all should cherish. Life is only as much fun as we make it.

Great vid! I love my 100 (used as a tourer) and agree with Dan... the fuel cost will take many many kms to equalize. Plus it is just so dependable ... has got me and my family all over and back again. My youngest scratched a nice big love heart on the bonnet when she was 3, just enhanced it's value:). All praise the 100!

DanMeDown, great video! We are running a 2004 Prado, with 130,000 kms on the clock that has only recently gone off-road with a 2019 Lumberjack Johanna camper trailer on the back. Total cost to-date, $70,000, but I bought the Prado 10 years ago, now worth $20,000, so it owes us nothing.

Danmedowns - good to see a video like this. We've gone through the evolution - Swags, 2nd hand aussie trailer and now a 2nd hand van. I always cant justify the cost of buying a brand new setup. I have a Campomatic 1980 model, no kitchen, or water tank. It came with the original fold up table - whoo hoo. Got it last year for $3000 . with as new original canvas, and screens, zips new posture pedic mattress. 11 seconds to open fully up, 4 minutes to winch it back closed ( add on ). Sold an offroad RoadStar caravan to come back to this, as we have been after one since 1980 when we first saw them,. It only weighs 400kg tare, 500 kg loaded. Fitting a battery shortly only a 40ah Gel, as only use max 8 amps a night currently with led lighting and TV/dvd player. Not charging thru the car as I used to do, just using the portable solar panel, as car charging is an unwanted expense in our new car. So your mate Buckley, bought one of the best Australian/NZ campers ever made. Campomatic was originally devised and built in NZ, and ours is an NZ version. They were bought out by an Australian company, sometime later. You will have many great trips with it, and when you want to upscale, you will get the same money for it, that you paid. They just hold value.
