Hey big fan! A bit off topic of the current video but I wouldn't mind a little input if you see this. I've had my own theory that most Muggles have a small percentage of Wizard/Witch DNA in a reflective manor on how most Wizard/Witch families have some kind of Muggle ancestry (hence the term Half-blood). For a real life example most modern humans have a small percentage of Neanderthal DNA despite the fact that they died out tens of thousands of years ago. If this is true then theoretically any muggle has a chance (albeit a small one) to spawn a new Wizard/Witch no matter who they have the kid with.

Realistic really, if you know the struggles of living without something like magic then if its one day revealed to you that you are a wizard and capable of wielding something like that you bet that person will give 200% in learning anything they can about it. I know I would. The level of dedication I would give magic if I was lets say Harry would be insane, I would dedicate all the rest of my life to it and be insanely grateful I wouldn't have to live as a muggle anymore but instead being able to do incredible feats and even be able to discern the secrets of reality through that phenomenon. Alas one can always dream but I think they were stronger because they saw how shitty it is to live as a muggle and how cool it is to live as a wizard in comparison. Lets just say I would have a ton of motivation even for housework if my plates washed on their own at the swish of a magic wand. While pure bloods who have been pampered with magic well... they might just not appreciate fully their gift as they didn't have to live in this shitty muggle reality like we do where washing dishes and doing laundry is something you have to do, with your hands. (I really hate doing chores, is it noticeable?)

In the end he won due to yet another ancient magic sacrifice trick, but after Volde is dead, Harry would have lost all of his special sauce, aside from being Master of the Elder Wand, which...well. He got by beating Malfoy who is not particularly good. Malfoy meanwhile never held the Elder Wand and only got ownership of it because Dumbledore LET himself be disarmed by him. Harry by himself is probably only average, likely ranking below his dad and mom in power and talent.

If Sirius offered to teach Harry himself, then that would imply he knew how. Occloumency is about hiding your feelings beneath the surface, not letting them come out, and controlling your emotions. That's why Harry was bad at it. And Sirius seems to posses the same traits that made Harry bad at it.

Remember also that Voldemort outdueled Kingsley, McGonnagal, and Slughorn in a 3 one 1 duel. Bellatrix got taken out by Molly Weasley. Voldemort, Grindelwald, and Dumbledore were in a league of their own. There is a wide gap between those 3 and everyone else. James was also a highly skilful duellist. During the First Wizarding War he presumably took part in battles against the Death Eaters and other dark forces, surviving until the end of the war. To make things clear, I have no issue with his family’s wealth. Nor does it bother me that he didn’t work, he is a fictional character and that is just part of his story. While yes it is true, he could conjure powerful spells, charms, curses, and jynxes, I do not think his magical abilities led to any successful achievement in the wizarding world. Yes, he did father Harry, the one who defeated the Voldemort, however it is also noted many times that magic can not create life, so Harry was conceived without James’ magical ability playing any part in it.

I personally think you did Sirius dirty. I know hes got a lot fanboys but I consider him to be equals with Bellatrix Lestrange purely because he was very comfortable while dueling her and even laughed at her. However bellatrix still should be ranked higher because Sirius is far more arrogant and cocky than her. Hence why he lost his duel against her. Yet he had also taken down Lucius and Dolohov before immediatly before, so I personally would've put Sirius right behind her.
